Dr. Siverhus is an excellent doctor.
He checked on me a lot both before and after surgery, as did his whole team. He made sure that I had/have all of the information I need to make a great recovery.
The Hospital stay and staff were excellent, pushed me when I needed to be pushed and helped me with anything I needed.
They all went above and beyond anything that I expected.

At first I thought Dr. Siverhus was an overworked, cranky doctor. It seemed like no matter how hard I worked my butt off to change my weight or lifestyle; I could not get him to smile. I think it worked because it made me worked harder. I prayed and prayed to have the surgery. The visit before my surgery and when I saw Dr. Silverhus in the hospital, he was a different man. He was caring and generally concerned for me. I am glad he is my surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone.

My first impression of Dr. Siverhus was that he seems to be a friendly, but yet, a sort of quiet and reserved person. But then, I imagine I gave the same impression. He is a great doctor who took time to explain things to me whether I had questions or not. The staff is nice, helpful and always ready to offer any assistance needed. Dr. Siverhus and his staff always explained everything about the surgey and it's after-care in detail all while continueously emphasizing the importance of eating right and exercising in order to make this \"TOOL\" successful. During my hospital stay, I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor. Dr. Siverhuses true concern for his patients only shined even brighter. And only a week after my surgery, I was back in his office and he was just as (if not more) happy at my already 8lb. weight loss and lowered blood surgery. I will always gladly recommend Dr. C. Siverhus to anyone who is seeking either information about or WLS itself. Many thanks to Dr. Craig Siverhus and his staff for helping me get on the road to a much healthier life. Thanks Guys!rnrnJanie

Dr. Siverhus is a God send. He is the nicest Dr. I have ever met. He is so understanding, and really took his time to explain everything to me. His smile is so contagious, and it was good to see that before I went in for surgery. His office staff was equally as friendly. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect. I would recommend the Columbia-St Mary's Bariatric Center to anyone in the area who is considering the surgery.

Dr. Siverhus is soft spoken but very direct. His staff is also very direct. Sue Dugan is very helpful, as is Mari, and the dietician. So far my impressions have been good of the entire staff.rnrnI am now 1 wk post-op. Dr. Siverhus was fabulous. My family and friends found him very open in explaining everything after my surgery. rnrnAs for myself, I was surprised to see him 4 times the day after my surgery always very concerned about everything. I found him to be very cautious and conservative regarding my treatment after my blood sugar and blood pressure soared. By the next day, all my vitals returned to normal.rnrnI paged Dr. Siverhus once regarding some bruising last night. He called back within 2 minutes! Now that's a surgeon!

Dr Siverhus was my surgeon, I had a lap RNY 12/20/2007. I enjoyed Dr Siverhus from the first time I met him. I found him to be cordial and genuine in his interest in helping me. The Bariatric Center at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee really emphasizes proper preparation prior to surgery as well as the importance of support groups and after care. The staff at the Bariatric Center is phenomenal!
