My first impression of D. Craig Floch was that he was very intelligent, professional and very confident. I researched different surgeries and different doctors for four years and as i soon as i met Dr. Craig Floch i knew he was going to be the doctor to perform my surgery. He only proved to become better as time went on. His staff is AMAZING!!! They are ALWAYS there for you and they do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING they can to make you comfortable. There was nothing that i disliked. Future patients should just go talk to him. THEY WILL LOVE HIM!!! They aftercare program is incredible. they have given me access to everything that i have needed. support groups and nutritionists and Mary Ziller. He was sensitive to my feelings but very professional and kind about the reality. Overall, i rate Dr.Floch and his whole staff EXCELLENT!!! THEY ARE ALL VERY COMPETENT, CARING, AND JUST ALL AROUND WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!! In my eyes, surgical competence and beside manner are equally important and they have definitely proven they are capable of both!!!

Dr. Craig Floch of Fairfield County Bariatrics in Norwalk, CT is one of the kindest, most concerned surgeons I have ever encountered. He not only cares about his patients, he treats them with respect and empathy. He is up to date in surgical techniques and explains the procedure in lay men terms to the patient. Dr. Floch's bedside manner is wonderful. He puts the patient at ease and takes time to discuss issues with you. He never hurries on his way and listens with understanding and patience. rnI would recommend him to anyone who needs any type of surgery, not just bariatric. He is the best!rnThe office staff makes you feel comfortable each time you visit and his fellow surgeons are just as competent and easy going as he is.rnFairfield County Bariatrics has a full program which provides support meetings and professional staff to assist with nutrition planning and a successful journey.

My first impression of Craig Floch was wonderful. He has a great bedside manner and he made me feel comfortable from the get go. My impression got better over time. I had a difficult time with getting approved through my insurance company and throughout that and up until the day of my surgery, he just got better....rnrnThe office staff was/is very helpful. I am 4 days post op and I don't need them YET...lol But, in the past, if I needed anything, I got back to me in a timely fashion.rnrnI would recommend Craig Floch to any and everyone. He talks to you like you matter and you're not just a number...He is a big supporter of support groups...pre and post-op. I haven't felt up to the post-op groups but I plan on being there in the next few weeks.

My first impression of Dr. Floch was very positive. I met Dr. Neil Floch at a seminar at Hall-Brooke. Dr. Ehrlich was also there. After the Dr.'s finished their presentation they walked around the room to meet everybody. Dr. Floch came right over and introduced himself to me. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. He asked me if I had any questions about WLS..well for the next 15 minutes he sat there with me and my Mother and answered each question in detail. Shortly after meeting both Dr.'s I made my first appointment with Dr. Floch. I thank God that he was able to see me.
I haven't had the surgery yet but I am getting closer each day. I know in my heart that Dr.Floch will do everything he can to help me with the wight loss journey ( as well as the office staff...thank you Denise for your patience.)
Once I have my WLS I will be SURE to update this section. Thank you!

I first met Dr. Craig Floch at one of his seminars. I found out about the seminar through a hospital flyer. My 1st impression of Dr. Craig Floch was quite impressive. He was very easy to talk to and seemed very honest. Over time my I am more confident that I chose the right group to take this journey with. The office staff is extremely helpful.

Aftercare was one thing that both the staff and Dr.'s emphazised.

Dr. Floch was very honest with the risks of surgery and was very patient in calming my nerves. Overall I am exteremely happy with my choice and would recomment him and his group to friends and family.

I think both surgical competence and bedside manner are important. If it wsn't for his great bedside manner I might have felt different about my complications.
