My first impression of him was ...he is full of info that i need to know. when i went for the consult,i had the same feeling. He takes his time to find out what your reasons are for having surgery. i am really glad that i chose him.

When I attended the seminar I knew Dr. Joyce was what I was looking for. He knew the problems of obese people and seemed to be very genuine in his concerns. rnI like his staff. What I like even better is that there is someone on his staff that has had WLS and can honestly answer questions because she really does know first hand.rnHe has structured aftercare. I would rate him and his staff a 10.

My first impression was of him wasa very reserved and professional. As the surgery neared he became more personal and attentive. The office staff is wonderful and supportive. Future patients should know that he is very direct, professional, and prompt. Aftercare is a necessity for good results. The program is structured. The risks of surgery are minimal compared to the problems when you are obese. Surgical competence is more important to me!

I am so glad that I choose Dr. Joyce. He is best around as far as I am concerned. He is very thorough with everything. His office staff is just as wonderful as he is. I went through so much just to get approval from the insurance and his staff helped me from the start and did whatever they could do to help me.rnrnI have not heard one bad thing about Dr. Joyce. When I was considering having the surgery I knpw a nurse who works at the hospital. She said that she has never heard one bad word about him. Everyone just thinks he is wonderful.rnrnI would recommend him to anyone considering have the surgery.

Great Doctor and I trusted him with my life 2 times. He also did my gallbladder surgery 3 months post opt. I felt very confident with him!

Dr Joyce was very personable and made me comfortable. His staff for the most part are great. There are a few people who could use a lesson in being empathetic with a patients.rnFrom experience with him being my mother's surgeon, Dr Joyce's bedside manner is great. He seems to really care, and is concerned with all of his patients well being. Whether it has anything to do with surgery or not. I remember my brother passed away from an automibile accident, and Dr Joyce and his staff sent a card to my mom (and the family) giving their condolences. They just happened to see it in the news paper so they took action. He also checked on my mom to see if she needed any medication....whether it be for sleeping or nerves to help cope with the loss of my brother. I give Dr Joyce a 10 out of 10.

This is the nicest Dr.I have met! He seems to care about me on a personal level. The Nurses are very helpful and would reccommend anyone to just go meet him. I have yet to be approved but do not feel at all scarred about this. I feel as I will be in good hands. Something I like about this office including the dr's , They always say hi with a smile. I have tried this before and been to other dr's that they are all abou work snd forget the person they are working on.rnI got him name from someone I happen to bump into at a garage sale, she just had surgery, I stayed to talk to her for 3 hours! I thought what a perfect recommendation! She said he had just the perfect bedside manner, kind and sweet, she was right just by what I have seen of him.
