Dr. Christina Li, Bariatric Surgeon Christina Li, MD, FACS is the Division Head of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Northwest Hospital and a founding member of the Sinai Hospital Bariatric Center of Excellence. As a board-certified surgeon, she specializes in advanced laparoscopic minimally invasive bariatric surgery at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her medical degree from the esteemed Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, completing her general surgery residency at the University of Maryland and was a research fellow at the Maryland Center for Videoscopic Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Li completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. As a pioneer of laparoscopic surgery in the U.S. and a leader in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), Dr. Christina Li has conducted extensive research and published numerous articles on MIS techniques. In recognition of her skills and experience, she was selected multiple times by her peers to receive recognition as a Baltimore Top Doctor in bariatric surgery.
