I love this doctor. From the start I never felt like I was hopeless. He is involved 2 1/2 years later on follow-ups to ensure all is going well and I continue to lose weight. He checks my full blood yearly for any shifts that may be of concern. He is soft spoken & kind hearted. His staff is the best. I consider this man with saving my life and giving me a new start. I see others that go to him that are the same, so I know I am not alone in these remarks.
Doctor Bodner was very informative and was a very straight and forward about the surgery.
He was the same person on very visit.
The office staff were very nice and will to reply to all my questions.
Nothing!
He is very strick and is looking out for your well being, if you do what he tells you to do you will do just fine.
Doctor tells you to follow the instruction that were given to you and you will do fine.
Yes following the instruction that were given to you by your nutriectiest and you will make out fine.
Doctor Bodner tells you that their are risk and it give you a hand out about the surgery and how many he has done and the result of the surgerys. You need to believe in your surgery and god helping him in your surgery.
Doctor Bodner is a wonderful and caring doctor and he will answer all you questions.
Both Great!
Dr. Bodner was friendly and open, relaxed and answered my questions easily. He was very frank and open about the risks and explained the procedure clearly. I was confortable with him, and his staff was very friendly and caring. I went through an extensive interview and psychological counselling process prior to getting approved, and Dr. Bodner had me lose 20 lbs. prior to surgery. I think that was a way to get me geared toward the changes I must make for the future, and to show that I could make the changes needed to improve my health after surgery, long term. I highly recommend him and his staff!
My first impression of Dr. Bodner was good. He seemed to take the time to explain everything to me. He seemed impressed to hear that I had done a lot of research before going to him.
He felt that I was well aware of the work it took after the surgery.
His office staff was very nice and didn't make me feel anything but important.
I feel that all patients that go to Dr. Bodner should know that he will help you as long as you are willing to follow his wants and needs. He is very careful and wants his patients to lose some weight first so that the risk isn't as high...
He has given me instructions about my diets and has a very good aftercare.
I would rate Dr. Bodner on the high side. He was everything that I wanted in a surgeon and he made me feel great when he would check in on me twice a day in the hospital.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. Bodner on 8/5/03. My first impression was a good one. He was very nice and very informative, covering everything about the surgery, aftercare and the pre-op things I would need. The thing I was impressed most about was that he has his patients go to intensive care for 2 days after surgery. then you are moved to a regular surgical floor. I feel that this is a neccessay step in order to monitor someone more closely. He also didn't sugar coat anything, I felt he was caring and thorough. I was able to schedule my pre-op work for two days later. I met with the nutritionist, had my bloodwork done, chest xray, and e.k.g. I will be seeing the doctor again on 9/16/03, hopefully we will bw setting my surgery date at this time. I already had a psych-eval done a few months back, so that s all set. I will update after my appt.
