Dr. Gluck has a very complete program. He is very caring and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Gluck is a very personable and carring surgeon. I was impressed with him from the beginning and they only improved the more I got to know him. His office staff is helpful and goes out of there way to learn about the patients and their situations. Dr Gluck puts in very long hours and even if you are the last patient of his 10 hour day, he is just as kind and friendly as if you were the first. Dr. Gluck has a very structured program, both prior to surgery and after. You start with a seminar explaining the surgery and meeting patients that have already had the surgery as well as his office staff who are there to answer any questions. I can say nothing bad about his entire office, program or himself. To me he is my lifesaver who truly cares about his patients.

I had an initial good impression of Dr. Gluck but reserved judgement until after surgery. My first impression strengthened over time and I describe him as extremely dedicated and caring. (Great "bedside" manner.) Every one of his office staff mirror his dedication and caring.
The only thing I might point out is that scheduled appointments were often delayed causing long periods of time in the waiting room. I understand that this is a fact of life for a surgeon who must respond to patients if they need unexpected help. I would want him to drop things and respond to me if I needed him.
Dr. Gluck and staff couldn't emphasize aftercare anymore than they do. They have come just shy of having it tattoed on my forehead!! :). There is a very structured and longterm aftercare program that is tailored to individual needs.
I would rate Dr. Gluck at the top of the heap, a 10 of 10. He is both competent and caring.

I was impress at the orintation. They gave you so much more information than any other orintation. I have meet Dr. Gluck once for pre surgery stuff. He was very helpfull and answered all my and husbands questions. Renae has been great to work with and is a real sweetheart. The part I like the most is how they treat you as awhole person and help with everything before and after surgery. I wish they were closer to me.

My first impression of Dr.Gluck is this man really cares. He really listened to me and understood what I was going through. It is still the same if not better. The staff is great, very helpfull, Ranee is the best. Nothing bad about him, I did not like the fact I have to pay a filling fee. Dr.Gluck answered every question I had, he never made me feel like i was taking to much time in his office, a great guy. The after care program is already set up for me. Over all I would rate Dr. Gluck a 9 out of 10.I think both are inportant I want a surgen that makes me feel easy talking to him, and also a surgen who has surgical competence.

he was very caring, understanding , right to the point. answered all your questions. no my impression never change overtime. his office staff is great no question is dumb and they always have time for you. they return your calls back even late at night. we can call him 24/7 at his home and cell number. he is never to busy to see or talk to you. his wife is his nurse and she is always there for you too. there isnt anything that i didnt like about him/ or his staff. dr. gluck is great, he is very picky about who he does, you have to go to a meeting with him and his staff the very first thing, you can ask him or the staff anything about the surgery and diet ect. and they have the answer right there, never have to wait for the answer.the after care is wonderful, he call or someone called every day the first week after. the after care is a year . yes he has a great strucured aftercare program. yes he address the risks over and over again to you and your family.i would rate him a 100.competence is both he is just great.

I have met with Dr. Gluck for the initial appointment and the seminar and he is a very compassionate man that has a deep understanding of what we are going through. His staff is wonderful and very sensitive to our feelings. They always make you feel welcome.

Renee is the person that handled my insurance company and got my approval that I thought I would never get!!! She is awesome!!!

I had my surgery in January 2004 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon with Dr. Brian Gluck as my bariatric surgeon. He is a first class dr and surgeon. I speak very highly of him and his staff. He has a great manner about him and he spends the time necessary to make you feel comfortable with any concerns you may have. I would recommend anyone who is interested in bariatrics attend his seminar and get a consultation appointment. He is courteous, prompt and has overall caring about his patients. He has a great team to prepare you before, during and after surgery. I have the confidence in his ability to never second guess or question what he recommends and does. The only negative thing was my hospital stay and the care provided at the hospital and even that was ok.
