I think Dr. Needleman is very professional and is very personable. He was very easy to understand and explained things very well in my pre-op appointment. I am extremely happy that I am now in the Ohio State bariatric program, it is 100% better than the previous program I was in at Mid-Ohio Surgical. All of the employees at Ohio State are very friendly and cooperative. They are readily available and treat you like a human being, not a customer.
I was impressed with Dr. Needleman and the entire OSU program from my first meeting with the nutritionist and in over 2 years nothing has changed that impression. They are all very knowledgeable, open and honest about what to expect when and what will be required of the patient to make this surgery a success. My only "bad" impression was the hospital itself - very dirty, with used bandages on the floor, water leaking in the bathroom, dust and dirt all over. The staff at the hospital was great, however.
Dr. Needleman fully explained everything about the surgery, including risks, what to expect before, during, and after. I give the entire program an A+ and Dr. Needleman an A++ - he saved my life.
When Dr Needleman first introduced himself to me and shook my hand I had a definite sense of caring and understanding. He took his time explaining everything to me and my mother and didn't seem as if he was rushed at all and wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered. We talked about his experience rate and his success rate, both of which gave me even more confidence in him. The office staff as pleasant and friendly and easy to work with. I had done quite a bit of research and had attended a class given by Ohio State where he practices so I had a lot of information going in. He was great at clarifying anything that I was not sure about. He was not only concerned with reassuring me, but also reassuring my mother who will be my primary support person. At the present time, I would rate him a 10 out of 10. I really don't have anything negative to say about him. I will add more (if I can) as I have more contact with him and his office staff.
I was very impressed with Dr. Needleman the first time that I met him. His staff was very kind and had a very professional aura about them. They answered all of my questions and have never failed to help me on any problem that I have had before or after the surgery.
He was very concerned about me the whole way through the surgery and altho it sounds like I am fibbing I never had one bad experience with eirther him or his staff.. I have been there at his office three times so far and everyone has even celebrated my weight loss along with me and even giving me hugs and alot of support.
Atercare has been wonderful alos when I call them they are very nice about calling me back in a timely manner and are always very kind. I fthe person that I am talking with can't answer my question then some will call me back with an answer.
over all I would rate Dr. Needleman and his staff with a ten... sorry nothing bad here..
Even the hospital stay was wonderful..I was very well cared for and the staff was there at my every whim. Can't beat that with a stick.. Even when walking down the hall and having gas the nurses all clapped at the release of it and I had to laugh. I had been in such pain from this and they all knew it.
