In my experience. He is uncaring. All he wants to do is place the lap band then hates the follow ups. He actually told my sister that I was a "pain in the ass" because I kept going in for a fill and he wouldn't do it. This comment is uncalled for. Plus, he has no right talking to my sister about my case.

I liked Dr Clapp from the first moment I met him at an informational seminar. He is very down-to-earth (a rare trait in a surgeon!) and truly cares about his patients' well-being. When I had a complication a few days after my surgery (no fault of his), he came into the ER to see me & run tests, even though it was a Saturday night & not his on-call weekend; most doctors would have let the ER and on-call doctors handle it, but he came in and took care of me. I highly recommend Dr Clapp!

I also want to say that most of his staff members are bariatric patients themselves, so they really understand your needs. I find all of them very helpful!

I was born on Dec. 4, 1978 but my real birth date was 9/14/2009! The day my life changed forever! My Dr. Benjamin Clapp was SPECTACULAR!!! I am very gracious and thankful for the blessings in my life. :) 311-139lbs! Thank you Jesus!!

My first impression of Dr. Clapp was that I liked him. He appeared to be easy going.rnHis staff is awesome and made me feel very welcome when I had my first appointment.
