Armour Forse Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,Ph.D.

I was impressed with Dr. Forse. He is a no nonsense kind of guy. Tells you like it is without the song and dance that some specialists try to pull.
Office staff, OMG, Adrien. What an amazing person. She is compassionate and caring. She complements Dr. Forse so well.
The only thing that upset me about when the surgery happened was that I was lead to believe that Dr. Forse was leaving the area, not Beth Isreal. So I felt kind of rushed into getting the surgery completed.
Dr. Forse's aftercare is amazing. I had three complications that occurred following the surgery, each time more worse than the previous time and Dr. Forse was there each time, advising and reassuring me that there was nothing seriously wrong and that I would be fine. Follow-up appointments were more than anyone could except. His concern for my well-being was outstanding.
I would have to rate him as exceptional.
I think that Dr. Forse is an all-around compentent doctor, as a surgeon and a caregiver.

Wonderful Doctor! I have only good things to say about him! His office is pretty busy, but with the increasing demand of this surgery, that is to be expected. The office administrator Adrienne is very helpful. The office is very strict about aftercare. Which is a Plus! They actually make you sign a "commitment letter" that says that you have to follow up with them on certain dates. Highly recommended.

Enough can not be said about the professionalism, surgical competence, bedside manner, and overall excellence that Dr. Forse maintains. My first impression was that he was a very conservative and precise medical professional...and maybe a little "stiff". As it turns out, I was mostly right...he isn't stiff at all - rather he has always made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease with my situation, regardless of the case. And even while my particular situation pressented him with fairly unique challanges (I was his largest lap patient to date), he never failed to exude confidence and complete support. His staff, especially the interns, were and continue to be incredible...the administrative side of things will challenge your patience, but trust me...everyone will bend over backwards to do their best for you. Because of their superb caliber, they are high in demand so the ever popular cliche' "patience is a virtue" will be your mantra. Do not hesitate to use the services of this second-to-none miracle worker...he saved my life and I will be forever grateful.

The first visit was short and sweet and he told me all about the surgery, very informative and he gives you a packet to read up on. The office staff are nice and have always answered any questions I had and were very informative and friendly. I have no negative experience with them at all, only good. They have a great support group 2xmonthly that was very informative and you got to meet people who have been through this all ready, you can go once or as many times as you like.

I liked Dr.Forse right from the first time that we spoke. He is very profesional and informed me of each detail that I asked about. The office staff is very profesional. Jane is very busy but goes out of her way to help. Adrianne is wonderful and very supportive. Overall, I will say that my experience has been a positive one with Dr.Forse and his staff. I feel that he saved my life and I will be thankful for the rest of it! Surgical competence is there, his bedside manor is excellent also, so both are great. You will have to learn patience. With the popularity and interest in this type of surgery you will learn that waiting and having patience is something that you must acquire.

I look forward to meeting him.
