Dr. Lederman is very comforting doctor makes you feel at ease. I have found him and the whole program very helpful and cooperative. They answer any questions you may come up witha nd do not make you feel like you should already know these things. What I like about the programis that you can ask any doctor a question even if he is not your surgeon.
I really like him.He answers all of your question, without making you feel stupid. He doesnt' rush you out the door. He explains things to you then makes sure you understand what he's saying.he doesn't sugar coat anything, He tells it like it is. He goes through all the risks of the surgery and highlights the ones that he thinks could be a factor in your case.He is very knowledgable, kind, and solid as a rock. He throws a little humor in when it's okay to do so. He's not a stuffed shirt,but covers all the bases.i really liked the fact that he said it was my choice, but he wanted me to do a lot more research, go to support groups and then come back to him when I'd made my choice and then we'd go through anymore questions that had come up.He also wrote a book then covers just about anything under the sun . He still goes over each part with you to make sure nothing is left out and you understand .

MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS HE IS A PROFESSIONAL. AS I WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS HE BECAME MORE OF A MENTOR AND WAS VERY INTUNE TO HIS PATIENTS NEEDS.PATIENTS SHOULD KNOW HE HAS YOUR HEALTH AND BEST INTEREST IN MIND,THE AFTER CARE HAS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FOLLOW THROUGH HAS BEEN FINE.DR LEDERMAN ADDRESSED EVERY ISSUE CONCERNING THE OPERATION AND WALKED ME THROUGH ALL OF IT AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH EVERYTHING.HIS OFFICE MANNERS AS WELL AS HIS SURGICAL MANNERS AND THEN HIS FOLLOW UP MANNERS WERE ALL EXCELLENT.
My first impression was that he was no nonsense, he told me straight out the risks and the benefits. He also told me that I needed to loose about 60 pounds before surgery and that I could do it. He told me that if I did loose that weight he would help me to loose the rest and keep it off. At first I was taken aback - I really didnt know if I could loose the weight or not but every time I saw him he encouraged me. He was wonderful - my surgery only took about 1/2 the time it whould have taken because of the weight loss before hand. He was great and very encouraging during my recovery. His staff is wonderful - they are always there. Especially Jodi - every time I called she was there for me and answered my questions. rnThey are very pro-support groups and it really helps to be able to talk everything out. rnI would rate this office and Dr Lederman a 10 out of 10! They are the best.rn
