'Dr. Fernandez is by far the most amazing doctor I have ever dealt with. His bedside manner and skills are impeccable. He genuinely cares about his patients. I have referred 12 patients to him....all succesful with no complications.rnrnHighly
Dr. Fernandez and his staff are amazing. Dr. F is one of the most caring physicians I have ever had the pleasure to know. He strongly emphasizes after-care and follow up, including regular visits and a monthly support group meeting. When you meet him, you get the feeling right away that he is the one you want to do your surgery.
My first impression of Dr.Fernandez was that he was very sweet, very funny and charming. There wasn't anything that I did not like about him (thus far). He was very open to me asking questions and I think he did a great job at answering them, he even gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek good bye! I have been told that his bedside manners are superb, I am hoping this is true - from what I've experienced of him I'm pretty sure it is very true. Ok, his office staff on the other hand..... I don't too much care for at this point in time, I've only met two of them in person. One of them is very nice face to face but not to good with her customer service skills via phone. The other I only saw face to face and to me she seemed as if she's bored with this job, the vibe from her was not very welcoming but I'm hoping my feelings will change as time goes by. Hopefully it will once they get to know me and see me more often. And of course, these are just MY OPINIONS based on my experience and in no way am I making a statement regarding what others may or may not experience!!!
Dr. Fernandez is a wonderful surgeon.. He his great. Easy to talk to.. Caring and happy that he can help you.
As you loos the weight is is happy as if it is he lossing all the weight.
I would recommend him to anyone. He is the best...

Dr. Fernandez was absolutely wonderful. He is a caring, compassionate person and understands the difficulties that we all have gone through prior to making the decision to have this procedure. Office staff were helpful and flexible... assisting with all paperwork as quickly as they could. Dr. Fernandez has performed many, many of these surgeries with few serious complications post op. He was thorough in explaining complications and takes his time in assuring your understanding. Surgical competence was wonderful as well as an EXCELLENT bedside manner. I would recommend him to others in a heartbeat! Although I realize that everyones experience will not reflect my own... as I had three years of information and research under my belt before I even went to see him, I still think my overall surgical experience could not have been better.
I was put at ease the minute I set eyes on him. He is the nicest Phyician I have ever met. He even gave me and my family a hug, and it made me feel comforted. His office staff is excellant. They are professional and will do what it takes to get your surgery scheduled. The office visits are very close to the time they are scheduled, he does not waste time. He has a program the you must see prior to your appointment. This program was very eduacational even after my years of nursing eperience and research on this subject. I would recommend Dr. Fernandez to all my family and friends
He is a wonderful caring doctor! His office staff is very good. He strongly emphasizes on aftercare and doing what he tells you to do. He has seminars and attends classes. Again a wonderful doctor! On a scale of 1 thru 10 and 10 being tops I would rate him a 11. His surgical and bedside manner is very good and he does not look at you like a fat person. He just looks at you for who you are.
