Benjamin Shadle, MD, FACS, is a skilled surgeon dedicated to giving cutting edge, excellent, and compassionate surgical care. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and fellowship trained in bariatric surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Shadle performs all bariatric procedures (the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy, and adjustable gastric banding) as well as revision surgeries laparoscopically. The Sutter Roseville Medical Center program boasts a comprehensive bariatric program that includes pre- and postoperative nutritional counseling for patients and their families, as well as support groups, and life-long follow up. Dr. Shadle enjoys biking, hiking, organic gardening, travel and spending time with his wife and children.
