Mark Mortonson is the Program Director for the Southern Oregon Bariatric Center. He assists each patient through the process from the first screening visit to surgery. Mark is passionate about the bariatric procedure as one of the best tools available to overcome the disease of morbid obesity, and helping people make healthy changes in their lives.

Formerly a health educator specializing in medically supervised weight loss and weight management, Mark’s background in the health education field, extensive knowledge of weight loss procedures and firsthand experience working with scores of individuals struggling with obesity issues make him the ideal person to help other people prepare for and undergo bariatric surgery.
