Wright State Physicians Bariatric Center
My evaluation was both objective testing and subjective. I found Dr. Wilbert to be a very good listener, because his report was very accurate. Not only was he an effective diagnostian, but also an effecient and expedient report writer. The surgeon's office and I had our evaluation via e-mail the following day. His serive was well worth the cash payment, especially since I am self-pay.
I was nervous about seeing him, but it wasn't so bad. After chatting for about 15-20 minutes he said I have "food and stress eating issues". (DUH!) and suggested that there are some very good books that he could recommend to me, including one called "Fattitudes", written by none other than himself. He referred me to his web page (www.fattitudes.com), and advised me that if I felt that I needed to see him more either before or after surgery I could. Then I went to his little waiting room and took a couple of brief personality and intelligence tests. His report was faxed to my surgeon the next day!
