I am 10 weeks post OP.
The day before surgery: 202.5 lbs (04 de December de 2017)
Today: 164 lbs
Goal: 135 lbs or so
(My body's changing but the messy bun is forever. Lol)
Thank you Dr. Kelly! The sleeve has been the best decision I ever made for myself. I didn't get sleeved to lose weight. I can lose weight and I have, over and over again and every time I put it back on. I chose the sleeve to help me keep the weight off for good this time! The balance I've gained in my life with diet and exercise in the last 10 weeks is unbelievable. I have never felt better. Goodbye, yo-yo dieting and hello forever healthy LIFESTYLE, the future looks nothing but bright.
I am stronger, faster and fitter than ever before and I feel like I'm just getting started. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Dr. Kelly, I am so thankful that you do what you do and forever grateful for my sleeve and this life its helped me achieve.

I wanted to post an update for anyone considering getting the sleeve or just recently post OP. This is what 10 months post VSG can look like when you put in the work. VSG has been the absolute greatest thing I have ever done for myself. It was exactly what I needed to ditch the yo-yo dieting and take control of my health and fitness. I feel like a whole new person and each day just gets better.

I went to my first bike park today and was able to ride on some very challenging terrain, and do well! I can literally visit parts of the world that I couldn't ever dream of before.
I'm so thankful.
Dear dr kelly, just want to say thank you for making this such an amazing experience, to say that I felt cared for it's a understatement, you're a blessing ... the other amazing surgeons, cecilia,Gabby and Jorge thank you guys so much specially for the laughter.
I wanted to tell Dr. Jaime Ricardo Ramos thank you so much for changing my life. It's been over 3 yrs since my gastric sleeve surgery and I have lost over 240 pounds!! I've had a very rough past few months since having plastics to remove excess skin but am finally feeling human again and thankful to be alive and getting strong and healthy again!! Again thank you, Dr Kelly, for giving me the tool I needed to lose the weight and regain my life!!
Today I am at 240 lbs and just completed my first 5K obstacle course!
This is Travis, I lost over 240 pounds in less than 1 year with OAGB surgery!
Surgery Date : August 8, 2017.
Highest Weight : 483 lbs.
Current Weight : 243 lbs.
Weight Lost : 240 lbs.
I’m happy to report I’m down 102 lbs total since my highest recorded weight and 93 lbs since starting the pre-op diet on September 21, 2017.
I’m forever grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to see what this body is capable of.
My life has really just begun...
26mo after VSG. I can honestly say this procedure not only saved but changed my life. My 2-year labs were perfect.
My triglycerides were actually low (at 27).
My only medication is a monthly Vit B12 injection but I was on that pre-surgery.
I’m able to keep up with my active four-year-old and can honestly say I’ve never been happier!!
Most days, I forget I was ever 240lbs, pre-diabetic, with joint problems, acid reflux, tinnitus...
Today I'm just a healthy person.
Yes, my sleeve has stretched a little, I could easily gain the weight back... But I've learned to love and take care of myself instead.
