I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Greg and Lynn. I was truly blessed having this group of very loving and great Dr's and nurses on my side. I can never thank you enough for not only saving my life but giving me so much more of life. I had my surgery in 2012, I have lost over 430 lbs, and have gained so much confidence, self worth and love for myself. There was so many nights I would be propped up in my bed and scared to go to sleep. Praying that God let me love through the night, I was scared I would die in my sleep and my toddler would wake up and find me. I have and would recommend this excellent group to anyone even remotely thinking about bariatric surgery.. Thank you all again and God bless you all...

I am a little more than 2yrs out from the by-pass surgery and the staff and surgeon are still there with great support. There are 2 group meetings a month for anyone who has had the surgery or just thinking about it. I can call the office anytime with questions and still get prompt responses. The follow-up care is amazing by the entire group!

This was my 1st experience with Dr. Gregory Mancini, however I have had his brother Dr. MAtthew Mancini for several unrelated surgeries in the past. The brothers operated together and I've had no real complications. I had the RNY and they had me in and out of surgery in under 1.5hrs. I was up and walking around that night and practically running circles the next day (although they did make me slow down). The entire staff was and is extremely helpful and easy to work with, although very strict in their guidelines. If you do what you're told then there should be no problem. Every question has been answered within 1 business day, when I thought there was something wrong I had an appointment within 2hrs (turns out I was just worried and everything was perfectly normal). This is not a program if you want to cheat and have your own way. They want you to be sucessful and do everything in their power to get you to where you need to be. Would never trust anyone else outside of the Mancini Brothers.

I will be at my 4th out of 6 visits with my surgeon next week. The surgeon is very nice but the program is basically run by Lynn Moreland, PA. I have found the group to be okay, except I have to wait about 1 hour each appt before anyone comes in the room. Their office is at UT medical center. The before and after care program are very structured and instructional. I'll have more to say after the surgery.

I cannot say anything but good things about Dr. Mancini and the staff at UT Medical Center. They are a top notch office and very professional. They have a high standard of education as well as care for their patients. Tenncare patients are sometimes treated like second class citizens by some medical providers. This does not occur at the UT Medical Weight Loss Center. I drove an hour and thirty minutes goine to every visit and back home. My appointments were always timely and thorough. I would advise any patient in the state of Tennessee to go the extra mile and call the anyone on staff from the insurance specialist to the nutritionist, to put me to the test. The whole staff is highly qualified and the program should be the poster child of a Center of Excellence.

It took Americhoice 3 days after receiving the paper work to approve my surgery! I am so pleased with both Americhoice and Dr Mancini's staff!

Completed my 6th visit with Lynn Moreland, PA and already met with Dr Greg Mancini. MD. He seems knowledgeable and has a great bed side manner. Explained surgery, the REALISTIC expectations, the good and bad involved clearly and concisely. Really trust him to help me start on a journey to a healthier future.

Lynn Moreland is the coordinator for the Bariatric program at UT. She works with both Dr. Mancini's.

I watched a DVD regarding Gastric Bypass Surgery and the options available.

Lap RNY is the best option for me personally.

I just started my 6 month doctor supervised diet and I am looking forward to a healthier life in the near future.

I will attend a seminar on March, 12, 2009 to learn more.

The office staff was very helpful.

I will learn more and UPDATE this over the next few months.

GOD BLESS YOU!

Dr. Mancini is very nice, and he really does take the time to sit down with you to discuss your past history and medical problems. He wants to try and help you decide which surgery option is right for you and your needs. He is very experienced and caring and does not rush you like some other doctors. Any questions you have ask them because he will answer them regardless of how bad you think your question is. Everyone in his office is so friendly and caring. They make you feel so good that you want them to help you change your life for the better. Standing right by your side through out the whole thing, even after. They become your second family.
