My first impression of Dr. Babineau is he is young and very down to earth to talk to.His staff was the best. His nurse Frieda sat and talk to us for a long time and answered all our questions. I liked everything about Dr.Babineau.Future patients should know that Dr.B. and his staff are very nice and caring.Dr.B and Frieda both went over all about surgery and aftercare plus they gave us a packet. The packet has everything you need to know.Dr.B. let us know that there were risk in this surgery.Overall I give Dr.Babineau and his staff a 100.

I really liked Dr. Babineau. He seemed very professional.His office staff was the best.I really liked Amy and Frieda.Frieda took alot of time tallking to us in the office.She knows alot about the surgery.She also heads a support group at East Texas Medical Center.

Future patients should know Dr.B and his staff really care.Dr.B. talk to us for along time and he was very strong on after care.He gave us a packet so we would have everything in writting on the surgery and the after care of the patients.Dr.B. let us know that there were risk in having this surgery.I'd give him 100%.

Dr. Babineau is AWESOME!!!!! I have met 4 others from this site that have had their surgery done by him and he does an incredible job!! He does a perfect straight beautiful incision. I have met him in his office twice now and he is just the nicest down to earth Dr. I think that I have ever met. He is VERY knowledgeable on this procedure. I have all the confidence in the world in him! And not to mention his wonderful office staff!!! Frieda and Amy are the sweetest most understanding and helpful people! It is so nice to hear someone say that they will find out something and call you back and they actually mean it! They are so on top of things! I highly recommend Dr. Babineau to anyone who is considering this surgery. Even if you have to travel to get here, he is worth it!!!!!!!

I really like Dr. Babineau so far. He seems very caring and thorough. His nurse Frieda is just an absolute sweetheart. She is a thin person and normally thin people have no sympathy for us "fatties". She is so understanding and kind. His secretary Betty is also very kind and professional. You can call anytime and they are so friendly and informative. We talked very in depth about risks because I have such a fear of dying during surgery. He was very reassuring, while at the same letting me know that complications do sometime arise. I would rate him an A+ so far. Haven't actually had my surgery yet, but will keep you posted on bedside manner. I am thinking it will be great as well!!!

Dr. Babineau is very professional but personable. He wore cowboy boots! His office staff, especially Freda the nurse is totally awesome! She took care of everything and got the insurance approved in less than 45 minutes. Betty the Office Assistant is as sweet as pie (will I ever eat pie again?) Future patients should definitely give Dr. B a call. He is doing a new incision for open Lap that is supposed to heal faster and cause lest pain. He is really big on aftercare and stressed that this procedure is to be used as a tool. He gave me a full packet of pre-op and post-op stuff. The aftercare program requires visits at 2,4,6,12 18 months and 2 years. He was very upfront about risks.
