Lisa is outstanding! I have seen other RD at Dr. Shoen's office and she is the best. She has listened to my concerns, suggested a course of action and has been spot on with her advice. I look forward to my visits with Dr. Shoen and Lisa because they both make me feel so successful. They are my greatest cheerleaders. I want to thank them for all they have done for me. I am 6 months out from my RNY surgery and could not be happier with the results. It is a lot of work loosing the weight, and without the help and expertise of Dr. Shoen and Lisa, I could not have done as well as I have. I thank them each day!
SO I'D LIKE TO THANK YOU SO MUCH DR.CHAUHAN FOR THE SURGERY I HAD EARLIER THIS YEAR 01/03/2018. I HAVE TO ADMIT I,M GETTING SO MANY COMPLAMINTS FROM EVERYONE THAT KNOWS ME, AND THEY ARE SAYING HOW MUCH MORE AND HAPPIER I AM, AND THAT HAS ALOT TO DO WITH THIS SURGERY. THIS LAST SIX MONTHS HAVE BEEN AMAIZING. IM LEARNING WAYS TO MANAGE THIS SURGERY I HAD DONE. GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS U AND GIVE THE GRACE U NEED TO STRIVE!!!!!!! TNK U SO VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!....
I was scared to say the least gearing all the vast horror stories of individuals whom went through bariatric surgeries'- however dr Akashay and staff helped me to understand WHY some have issues after surgery with Dumping the leading cause of the why's. I had to take an aggressive approach to getting my bmi. Normalized for my body and frame as last year i was spiraling downward with much more health related issues so in comes reccomendations from my primary doc to be reviewed for the bariatric surgery. I went into the 6month evaluation weighing in over 256lbs on the day of surgery i came down to 223lbs 2weeks later after my body adjusted through difficulties i weighed in at 215 ?... I feel much better and look forward to being my normalized SELF- thank you Dr Akashay...
Great surgeon and staff. I had a great experience from day one. He kept me safe during surgery despite a complication. I have had fantastic results and am loving life post-op. This surgery changed my life.
Dr. Rothchild and Dr. Schoen at University of Colorado Hospital were amazing! The whole clinic is very nice, caring, informative, and encouraging. I had a perfect recovery and zero issues after my surgery. Their office took care of all the insurance prerequisites and kept me informed during the process the whole time. They set realistic weight loss goals. I am so glad that I had my surgery with them.
Dr. Rothchild has been great to me as a patient. He answered all my questions in the beginning made me feel comfortable and was not pushy about which surgery he thought I should have. He understood this was MY life and MY body and still respects my choices when it comes to my health. The team at the Surgical weight loss center in Aurora, CO are also great always nice and helpful and if I had any questions they would always call me back with in 24 hours.
For me weight loss surgery felt like my last effort to regain control over my weight and get my life back, I tell Dr Rothchild all the time thank you for helping me get here! I love the life I have now after getting healthy.
