it is really such a great experience. Dr Kwon and his staff are so professional and most of all ...nice.
I had my surgery 7 weeks ago and im down 54 lbs over all...

Im very excited about the ease of this entire process...i can only say that if you are sick and tired of being overweight and the pains associated with that(emotional and physical) then look into this. You must be ready to be rid of it and simply use your band as a tool...if you do and follow EVERYTHING Dr Kwon says than you will have great success.

Dr. Kwon seemed very professional and respectful of my feelings . He seems like he is a caring and very educated Physician and he likes to make sure his patients continue with support groups after surgery to help with the success of their surgery. So far I would say he is a top notch Physician and would recommend him to anyone who asked. He will answer any and all questions you have, you just have to ask him. I am now three months post op and I still think I had the best surgeon there is.

Dr Kwon and his office staff are incredible. What a great experience.

What can I say, He is awesome, the office is awesome, You feel like you are more then welcomed, Never did I feel Uncomfortable.

I had my operation on 7/20 and on the monday after the operation I was down 34Lbs.

Dr Kwon Will explain in detail everything for you, He shoots from the Hip.

I attended the lap band seminar 4/28 EVERYONE was wonderful!! I finished my pre-op appts in june and as of tdy 7/22 I have been approved by the insurance, EVERYONE at DR kwon's office is WONDERFUl, Cindy Courtney and maryann all know what you are going through and are there to help you with EVERY step of the way! I am so happy i picked DR kwon!

I could not have picked a better surgeon ( and staff) then Dr. Kwon.
Everyone in the office are fabulous, and I am so very pleased with my decision!
I am now 6 months post-op and down almost 50 pounds! I feel wonderful and I owe much of that to Dr. Kwon, his knowledge and staff!!

I had my surgery on St.Patrick's day 3/17/05
I wanted to see if he had a sense of humor, so I taped a shamrock to my stomach (the paper cut out type), they cracked up in the O/R, he took it off of me and put it on his scrubs, the next day when I saw him he told me that he taped it on his locker.
His staff is great, the insurance lady will definitely fight for you, they are all wonderful,Carol, Cynthia, Elaine all of them.
I have nothing negative thus far to report about the doctor or staff, so no news is good news!!!!

I had a very good first impression of Dr. Kwon. He was very intelligent and confident about this process. He was also the one who came out and spoke to my wife after surgery. She and I appreciated that alot. I cannot say enough about his office staff. Not only were they caring and friendly, they equipped me with the knowledge and references i needed to make this happen. I wasnt sure whether to go with Dr. Kwon or St. Lukes. I gotta say I would recommend Dr. Kwon every time. They would greet me by name(without looking at my file) and that meant a lot to me. Give Dr. Kwon a call. It is definately worth your time

I was impressed by Dr.Kwon. He was kind and said that I was a good candidate for surgery.I was told to lose 10 pounds before surgery,his explaination was that the weight loss will help with the size of your liver. I was weighed on the monday before surgery and I had lost 16lbs.I would recommend Dr. Kwon to anyone,there is no need to travel to NYC.

I met Dr. Kwon at his seminar that he gave in September. I liked him because he talked to me right away. I thought that was nice of him. My impression really hasn't changed. He open with me and I like that about him. His staff has been awesome. Dr Kwon was on my insurance, and his staff fought for me and won my approval. Dr. Kwon is strict. You must follow his rules, or he won't do the surgery. His aftercare program seems to be great. He really wants you to go to the support groups. Dr. Kwon rates very high with me. I had him checked out by someone who works in the medical field, and he has a great reputation.
