My first impression was that he was very honest and objective in his presentation of what he offers for surgery. He is very professional and I'm impressed with his personal involvement in support groups and the blogs.

So far, my experience with Dr Curry and his staff has been incredible. I've been to the office 4 times so far, and every time, they remember your face and they treat you like family. My surgery is fast approaching (June 15) and the entire staff has put me at ease as the date nears. rnrnDr Curry's WLS seminar is what was my final decision to choose him as my surgeon. He was very informative, and very professional, but he's also very personable, and that's important to me.

I had done a ton of research on the surgery, but still learned a bunch more that I didn't know. Office Staff was great.. all very nice ladies. Great to know that some of them have been through it as well. Entire visit ran smoothly and I felt really welcome. rnrnPost Op. Surgery went smoothly. No problems. Dr C was easy to contact when I thought I had an incision infection. (and on Xmas Eve!) The office staff is great. Erin was a dream with helping me with my preop diet. He openly discussed his own recent banding procedure during our seminar... I liked that he would be able to relate from personal experience. His information packets were very thorough, as was the entire seminar. He seemed approachable with a sense of humor and integrity. I was very impressed with his staff- two of them took extra time to talk with me at great lengths... answering questions, sharing their own personal stories and pictures. His program fee includes 2 yrs aftercare at no additional cost. This applies if there are any complications also. He did discuss the risks in great detail & I feel comfortable at how low the risks are for banding procedures.Most all his staff members have had a band procedure also- so they can really relate. They have dietitians on staff as well as Nurses and personal trainers and an gym.

I have not had surgery yet, or have even met Dr. Curry in person. But I have contacted both him and his office with questions and they have been shockingly responsive and informative ... even with someone who hasn't \"signed up\" with them yet. There's no doubt that I'm seriously leaning towards choosing Dr. Curry as my surgeon! I've never experienced a Dr's office who is so responsive.rnrnUpdate: Went to Dr. Curry's informational seminar. It was soooo well done. I've decided to choose him as my surgeon. He and his staff are exceedingly helpful and personable and confident.rnrnThey really emphasize aftercare and have a structured aftercare program. As a matter of fact, there's a two year aftercare program bundled into the surgery costs.rnrnIn terms of surgical competence, research shows he's one of the very best and his bed side manner seems very calm, confident, friendly and matter of fact.

I was impressed by the well organized office and their program package. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice, helpful and non-judgemental.

I had done my reseach before choosing a surgeon. It was time well spent. My experience so far has been excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Curry and his staff.

Dr. Curry now has his own business in Evendale OH, Columbus, OH and Northern KY. He has also opened an exercise location called Fast Track. It's wonderful!rnrnrnI met Dr. Curry in August of 2005 when I attended his information seminar. His seminar was very informative to me and I was impressed that his entire staff was there to answer any questions you might have.rnrnDr. Curry is very personable and very easy to talk to. He makes himself available to his patients with the Deaconess website as well as offering assistance here on OH. My surgery is scheduled for January 16 and I will update this after my surgery.

I found Dr. Curry to be extremely professional. I was impressed by his office and his office staff. Dr. Curry has a great bedside manor. I actually came down with a cold 4 days before my surgery. It was a friday night when I started not feeling good. Saturday when I woke I felt a little worse and was starting to panic. I called Dr. Curry's office line at 8:45 on Sat. morning, it said if I needed to speak to someone press one, I did and Dr. Curry himself answered and set me at ease.rn Now to the best part!!! I feel the entire staff really prepared me for what was to come. I live 4 hours away so they squeezed me in to meet with everyone so I did not have to make another 8 hour trip to complete all the pre op appointments.rn OK the REALLY best part, my surgery went awesome! I fell fantastic and did immediately! My stomach did not hurt at all... EVER!!! I am not even a week out feel like I never had surgery but have already lost 15 of the 106 pounds I plan on losing. I do not have one negative thing to say.

I am a registered nurse so I'm very particular about medical providers. Dr. Curry and his staff did not disappoint. Everyone in the office is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Many of the staff are successful band patients. In fact, I believe Dr. Curry operated on his own wife-so there's a pretty amazing testimonial right there! The preparation was extensive. I took a two hour nutrition class. The practice offers support groups. Dr. Curry himself is always quick to get back with you when you have a question. I had band over bypass so I was a bit worried going into surgery, but everything went extremely well. I'd recommend Dr. Curry and the staff very highly to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
