Went into the ED about 8 months post-op from my Roux en y Gastric Bypass (2013) with some minor (with severe pangs) abdominal pain, that was persistent for a few days. My surgeon, Dr. Matthew Davidson, was on vacation at the time, and Dr. Rosenberger was the surgeon working that day. After CAT scans and several other tests, "nothing" was showing, but I knew (and so did Dr. Rosenberger) something wasn't right, and was taken in for exploratory surgery that evening. Dr. Rosenberger found two internal hernia's, one at my Y, and one in my bowel, that was close to bursting. He fixed me all up, and I've had no problems since. Had he not taken the time to be so thorough, I don't want to think of what could have happened. He could have read the test results and said that "all was fine, everything looks good" but he didn't. I am very thankful for Dr. Rosenberger, and was glad that with my surgeon on vacation, that I was in great hands. Thank you Dr. Rosenberger.

I am highly upset and disappointed in this group! When deciding to have my surgery, I did a lot of research and decided this group would be great for me due to their long term commitment for my success. My doctor was Dr Geraci , very nice. To make a long story short, I was having some issues prior to my one year, Dr Geraci told me they would keep an eye on it. My one year anniversary and appointment time came up and low and behold, Dr Geraci left the practice and I was to schedule with dr Davidson, whom too left the practice. I left four messages to get in with a doctor because my now minor problem has turned into severe. I finally get in with Dr DiMarco and express to the nurse how mad I was that I was being pushed to the side! She stated she apologized and would let the doctor know. Dr came in and was very nice about trying to get me on track, walked me out to the counter and we scheduled and endoscopy for today! I called the office two times last week to let them know I have NOT been called with a time and they told me they would call the day before! Guess what, no call, not even on the books to be seen today! If you are wanted a quick fix surgery, good place to go, if you want a place that is going to be concerned with you and your needs after surgery, I would suggest you stay away from this group!!!!!!!

I had Dr. DiMarco who did sleeves bypass surgery on me, He's a wonderful surgeon who was there for me to make sure that I was okay beacause I was supposed to have it done on April 22nd however my blood pressure piked unexpected and admitted me into the hosp until my blood pressure was under control so he came and checked on me few times until the 24th I was so ready to have it done. He is wonderful and blessful guy who shows very care and knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone as you would get a postive feelings from him. :)

My first impression of him was he seemed like he wanted to get the appt. over with as soon as possible.

The staff are unfriendly most of the time-for the money these people get they should be happy to have a job.

Future patients should know Dr. DiMarco and Dr. Lawrence Wieger dismiss LAP-BAND patients and they have to go to another state. Noone in the state of Pa will take them. Especially not Hershey Medical Center. Think twice before you spend the money to go to this Clinic.

Aftercare: Lap-band adjustments are expensive and they do not hesitate to terminate service if you don't lose adequate weight, disagree with what they are saying or anything else that might upset their DELICATE egos.

I suggest going to the Hershey Medical Center, these people have cost me $1,000's on trips out of state for my care. They have no compassion or they would not have dismissed me.

My husband and I liked Dr. DeMarco from the first time we saw him. I would recommend hime to anyone. I had alot of faith in him and felt safe when I went to have the surgery. He is pleasant and caring. He takes his time when you have your visits and doesn't rush you. The only thing is he is always late for his appointments. The day of my surgery he was two hours late. I still really liked him and would recommend him to do surgery.

I LOVE DR. DIMARCO! He takes his time with you and makes sure you know exactly what is going to happen before/during/after the surgery. I felt so safe in his hands. I highly recommend him! I have not had any complications from my surgery. Dr. DiMarco does tend to run late for his appointments, but that is just because he is a busy doctor and is patient with his patients! If you have any questions about him, just ask me. He changed my life. :)

I am just starting the process. But so far everyone seems super helpful. I will add more as I can.

Dr. DiMarco came highly recommended by a friend who had RNY. He has lived up to every expectation. His staff is always friendly (sometimes a little hard to get through on the phone, but that is the only negative thing I can say) Dr. DiMarco made me feel so comfortable before surgery. His surgical competence and bedside manner are wonderful! I was a little unhappy with pain control after surgery. But may have been my fault since I only discussed it with the resident and not the Dr. or Anesthesiologist. But I made it! A little pain is so worth the gain of a leaner body!

Dr. DiMarco is sweet with a great bedside manner. While my contact with him was limited, he did what he could to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I felt safe in his capable hands and my surgery went over without a hitch. He does oncology surgery as well and looks at weight loss surgery as the upside to his job. He seems just as invested in his patients' weight loss as they are.

The Weight Loss CenterrnEveryone there has been Great. I am looking forward to having my surgey. I had Dr. DiMarco assist in a back surgery of mine in 1999 and was fantasic. He will be my surgeon for my Lap Band surgey. (12/15/2008) I just saw Dr. DiMarco, he is fantastic. He answered everything for me. He took his time and assured me that if I followed the rules, I would do Great... I recomend him Highly for anyone in the Harrisburg, Pa. area...
