    Our program specializes in laparoscopic surgery, with the goal of minimizing pain, complications and recovery time so that patients can return to their normal activities as soon as possible. Most operations that formerly required large open incisions can now be done with 3-5 small incisions. Some can be done through needlescopic incisions - incisions so small they cause minimal scarring and almost no pain. We are the only group in the Western United States that offers the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Biliopancreatic Diversion/Duodenal Switch and the LapBandTM all laparoscopically.
