Steg's the man. He's very into what you're thinking, and doesn't allow you to not know what you're getting into. He's serious, yet supportive and approachable at the same time. So far, I like him. I'll know more after he guts me...er...cuts me...er...performs the delicate surgery...that's what I meant to say.

Dr. Stegemann was very nice et caring!! He was very informative and didn't make you feel degrading for being overweight!! The whole atmosphere of New Dimensions Weight Loss Surgery was very helpful and caring. Anytime I call, they are very cordial and helpful. I think they are all just wonderful!!!

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. STEGEMANN WAS A LASTING IMPRESSION. DR. STEGEMANN IS GREAT, AND HIS BEDSIDE MANNERS IS WONDERFUL.

Wasn't sure who to pick as surgeon, so I had my husband choose who he was comfortable with. I think my husband did a great job on selecting Dr. Stegemann, but as I go to the Support meetings, I can see that anyone of the doctors would have been a good choice. They are all concerned with our well being and want us to understand that this is just a tool for weight loss and it is up to us to follow through. Their office staff is very helpful any very nice. I have been to doctor's offices where they won't give you the time of day, but New Dimensions staff is not that way. The least thing I liked about Dr. Stegmann....haven't found one yet. I do have to say I did not like the fact that I had to change my first surgery date (and I don't even remember why but it had nothing to do with me) because it conflicted with my work schedule, but it all worked out in the end. My second visit for follow up I did not see Dr. Stegemann, only the nutritionist and his assistant. All I can say is that is hard to do this and I thought I was ready, (3 years in therapy) but I can see that all my emotional eating probelms didn't stop because of this surgery. I know the risks associated with this surgery, but I am seeking help from a therapist so I can get a handle on all this.

Sr. Stegemann has been great!Before surgery I e-mailed him a couple of times and he answered guickly. Office visits since surgery he has taken plenty of time to answer questions. No complaints with him, it is hard to call the office and talk to them you have to leave a message.

Dr. Stegeman seems like such a knowledgeable and nice doctor from my very first visit with him. That impression has never waivered. His office staff is friendly but busy. What I like least about him is that every one his female patients (that I know) thinks they are his favorite patient and I KNOW that I am really his favorite patient!

Future patients should know that they will be in good and capable hands if he is their physician. He takes every precaution to prevent complication. If complications do arise, as sometimes cannot be controlled, he follows the patient closely. My friend said he even came to see her at 2a.m. on several nights when she had a complication in the hospital.

At every post-op visit, he educates about living the post-op bariatric rules, in order to keep the weight off. One knows what to expect at each office visit.

Before surgery he explained, in great detail, every possible risks and complication that could occur. He, then, takes every precaution to prevent them.

Overall, Dr. Stegemann is a wonderful doctor that God sent to me.

Dr. Stegemann is terrific in his surgical competence and his bedside manner.

My husband and I are so grateful to God and Dr. Stegemann (in that order)and me for my health.

I really liked Dr Stegemann he was very up fornt. He seems to really care about his patients. And the office staff was very helpful and friendly

Dr Stegemann is a miracle maker. He is the best surgeon I have dealt with. His bedside manor is the best, although he is strict and tells how it is.

I absolutely love him!! He is the most compassionate caring Dr I have ever met. I feel very safe and secure in his hands. Everyone in his office is great too!
