Rusell Broadbent, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center
my surgeon is very dedicated . my impression didn't change over time and I felt complete trust in him.
there is a structured program after the surgery with a support group
I was informed of there being a risk with the surgery.
His office staff are good.
I have no bad words to say about him he's saved my life.
He is a dedicated surgeon, he spends time with you to make sure you are sure about what you are doing. after care and support are very important as well as exercise.there is a suppoert group, which you are required to attend for a year after surgery, this is for fun and frienship as well as helping with any problems this is also open to people considering the surgery themselves.
THE RISKS:
were written down so you had a chance to read them through several times before you signed them.
overall I would rate him as warmth, care concern, sugical competence. beside manner:excellent and dedication, including twice daily visits in the ward and extra trips into see you if things were not going too well. Ie: I had a severe Kidney infection while I was in there and he came specially to see me and put me on antibiotics.
Negatives:
Well I wish I was better informed about my Tummy tuck and how much pain i would be in this didn't feature too much in any discussions, this surgery was, way worse than the orignal.I was also sent home with drains still in me, which I found very hard to deal with and look after myself with them in. like I had a couple of red tails LOL. but that was After the tummy tuck. I am not sure I should have had it but it is too late now and I guess I really like the "flat" Look but i would have liked some more info first.
I think he is a very careing surgeon bedside manner is wonderful surgical competence is excellent!
I had the BPD/DS after having an adjustable lapband taken out.
