Dr. Krause was amazing. He is very skilled and knowledgable. His has a great bedside manner. He is very personable and I never felt neglected by him, his office staff or the Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital staff. All were wonderful and caring. I have had a very positive experience so far. I am 3 months post-op VSG and will be seeing Dr. Krause for my 3 month post-op visit in two days. I would highly recommend Dr. Krause.

THANK YOU DR. KRAUSE FOR YOUR MAJOR POART IN LETTING ME LIVE LIFE! Dr. Krause is an amazing surgeon, has incrediable bedside manner and is so approachable with any and all questions and concerns. I would use Dr. Krause for any surgery I would need. When I had an emergent situation he was available IMMEDIATELY and not only personally talked to me on the phone during office hours, but met me at the Hospital to further investigate my problem. Turns out I had eaten an english muffing that clogged my intestines and cause a bowel obstruction. I totally trust him. This has been the only issue I have had (and I guess it is my falut, since I shouldn't have eaten the muffin). Pre Surgery weight 325 lb size 26 and 3-4 X, POST SURGERY WEIGHT 135LB (MAINTAINED SINCE 2008~~SURGERY DATE 12-1-06) SIZE 3-4 AND SMALL-MED. i LOVE MY LIFE... Please do not hesitate to use Dr. Krause, I lived in Kansas City, MO when I had my RNY surgery and I traveled to Michigan to have this done after 3 years of research for the best faciulity... and Beaumont Royal Oak and Dr. Krause filled that requirement.

Dr Krause was very professional and informative regarding my concerns for the surgery. He always kept my family informed with update and very personable. Just a genuine person that truly cares for his patients. Overall experience was wonderful and I will hank him always for saving me.

Well, I'm now 5 pounds from goal weight. I feel great and I have high high self esteem. My health is wonderful, no more high blood pressure medicine no more sluggishess. I feel great.

Dr. Krause is excellent. He is very compassionate, yet professional. He exudes a sense of confidence. My impression has remained high. Office staff very helpful, even though at times it seemed as though the process was taking too long! I realize now that it was my own impatience that made the process seem too long! Dr. Krause is very encouraging and has a structured follow up program. I had no concerns going into the surgery because all questions my husband and I had were answered before hand. I had one slight complication about a month post-surgery and he was very reassuring about what I needed to do to take care of the problem. I would highly recommend him.

Doctor Krause is great, he has a great track record and answers any/all questions. Never had a bit of trouble with office staff or visits, he is punctual - which I apprecaite. He covered risks involved and I can't think of any area that I would recommend for improvement. If I had to do it all over again, he would be the doctor I would call.

It has been one year today since I have had my Lap-Band surgery performed by Dr. Krause. Lap-band patients are said not to lose weight very fast, but after one year, I'm only 19 pounds away from my \"goal weight\". I'm no longer morbidly obese, I no longer have all the health problems I had before this surgery, and I feel fabulous.
