I really like my surgeon. I found him on the net when I was reading about Carnie Wilson. He was the only one that I saw at that time that did the RNY laparoscopic surgery. His staff did all the work for me and all I had to do was show up. They got my insurance approved the first time. Dr. Dy test you from top to bottom to be sure you are ready for this. He lets you know exactly what you are getting into.

I have an upcoming appointment (my 1st appt) to meet/consult with Dr. Dy. I hope to have lap bypass.

I meet with Dr Dy for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed with his office staff and himself. He really emphasized the education myself and my loved ones have regarding this surgery. He wants all new patients to attend a seminar to speak to others who have had it done. My whole family is able to attend. His staff helped me set up appointments for pulmonary and psychiatric evaluation. After all the needed test are completed he requires your immediate family and yourself to meet with him. Support of your "loved ones" is very important to him. He said that he will answer all questions from my family..in short, put my loved ones mind at ease. Not many doctors seem to take the time with patients nevermind family members..I would highly recommend Dr Dy.

Dr. Dy is great. His staff is outstanding.
