I went to see Dr. Norton in late 2000 early 2001. We discussed my surgery but he did not seem to want to do a redo of a past gastric bypass. He actually did not answer my questions as I was not really given the time to ask them. He asked me a few questions and said that if sweets were my problem the surgery would not work. I have since cut my sweets intake down to about 5% from what it was. I stay away from them almost completely. I never felt comfortably going back to him to ask any further questions and he gave me no referrals. His office staff is exceptional though. I wish they were with a doctor I could relate too. This is just my opinion as many others may have had wonderful results with Dr. Norton. But my surgery being a redo I believe made him unsure.
