'Dr. Oliak is the most understanding Doctor I have came accross in years. He listen to all my concerns

Seems very caring about his patients, also about the obesity issue in this country. Even though I didnt have too many questions (because I did A LOT of research prior), he made sure he answered all the questions I had. He is also very nice, makes you feel comfortable and listens to everything you have to say.

Honetly the main thing I have to say about Dr Oliak is that is seems to be a compassionate doctor and that he really cares what you have to say.. As well as he is excellent at answering any and all your questions.. As for his staff they are all great. I couldn't be happier with how nice they are... I would recomend Dr Oliak to everyone

Dr. Oliak was great! He always took the time to listen to me and take my complaints and concerns seriously. He was very helpful with complications I had (even though they were fairly minor). He is very young but knowledgable. He was very concerned that I follow the after care rules and go to the support groups. I would refer anyone to Dr. Oliak.

He seems thorough and detailed. He also seems concerned in being proactive on his approach. If anyone else knows him, please let me know.

Attended seminar, I liked Dr. Oliak's kind, calm manner and sensitivity. I was impressed by his surgical statistics and willingness to look closely at complications and judge his own performance. Program seems to have good structure, including appropriate aftercare.

My first impression of Dr. Oliak was wonderful. He is kind, caring and informative. He wants to make sure you know what you are about to do, along with all the risks and benefits to your decision. I feel 100% safe in his care. I would definately recommend him to anyone considering having WLS. Scale of 1-10 he and his staff are a 25+. His office people are awesome and extremely helpful, especially Nilda and Andrea.

My first impression was a very kind and respectfull person. My impression stayed the same throughout the surgury and beyond. The staff were allways helpful and caring. There really was nothing I did not like about him except having raised my protien shakes to 5 a day. Very helpful in after care even called me at home. There is structured after care. He completely explained the risks of all the types of bariatric surgury. Overall an excellent surgeon and quite well versed in Laprascopic RNY. Surgical competetence is outstanding and bedside manner as well.

Dr. Oliak is very kind and talks to you like a normal person and will not put you down answers all your questions.

I chose this hospital because of the way the office staff is. I had called several other places and my questions were never answered till Champman Medical were kind enough to answer my numerous questions.

I like everything about Dr. Oliak and the aftercare he emphasized made it easy even though now I do not have any insurance they assured me they still can see me and will see me every 3 months to follow up my care.

Dr. Oliak explained the risk of surgery before the operations and gave us a choice to go on instead of insisting to do it no matter what. His bedside manner is great and caring.

The only bad thing is the wait in the waiting room, but that is it.

I selected surgeon David Oliak, based in part upon his peer reviewed papers and presentations on topics related to my condition. I am more interested in surgical competence than any other issue, including bedside manner. To this end, I am pleased to share that I found him to be both competent and to have an excellent professional presence. For example, my first meeting with David Oliak lasted approximately 1 1/2 hours due to his commitment to addressing my mammoth list of questions and concerns. Further, he addressed all of my questions and concerns in a manner that fostered confidence in his professional capabilities.

I was pleased to learn that of his over 400 weight loss surgeries, he has yet to have a patient pass away. Further his statistics are well below the national averages regarding the more significant weight loss surgery complications. For example, his attention to detail has resulted in his never having a patient experience a leak.

I am pleased to fully recommend this surgeon should you be considering weight loss surgery.
