My first impression of Dr. Naik was how young he is and how good looking. He has a very good bed-side manner and answered all of my and my families questions. We were not rushed in and out of his office. That made us feel very comfortable. He explained everything down to the smallest detail. rnEach time I have seen him it has been the same, he is great. His office staff was very nice. If I had to pick something I liked the least about him it would have to be the long wait in his waitting room. But, I know that he will give me just as much time as I need as well so it is a two way street. Aftercare is very important to Dr. Naik. He saw me two weeks post-op and I am scheduled again in five weeks for my first ajustment. The risks of surgery were addressed three or four times pre-op. Again post op. I would rate Dr. Naik at an above excellent level. His surgical cometence and bedside manner are both fantastic!!! I would recemend his group to anyone.rnThe hospital on the other hand, well I'll leave that alone.

My first impression of Dr. Naik was please don't let him be my surgeon. I was seeing him for breast cancer and he looked too young to be operating. After talking with him and asking every RN I knew in town I truely believe our paths were crossed for a reason. He is gentle, kind, and compassionate. He truely cares for his patient's well being.

A year later when I decided to have LAP Band surgery there wasn't any question as to who I would have perform this procedure. He explained in great detail the postive and negative aspects regarding LAP Band. He was infatic about following a pre-op regime that included exercise and weight lose.

Since my surgery I have also experienced great post-op care. He didn't operate then release me to fend for myself. He has been there every step of the way. Dr. Naik doesn't scold when I have slipped a little in my post recovery, but he does explain why it is important to follow the program and the consequences for not. Since he cares you know he is disappointed. He wants me to be successful in attaining my goals.

The staff at Bakersfield Surgical Center is also wonderful. They are able to answer any questions and if they don't know the answer they always call me back in a short time. Dr Naik is lucky to have these gracious people, especially Bella, who has held my hand and listened more than once.

In conclusion I can say that Dr. Naik and his staff are wonderful medical professionals and that I would not hesitate to have him perform any needed surgery.

The first time I meet Dr. Naik I fell in love with him. He is a great Dr. Dr. Naik has a very good bed side manner. He is very concerned on the aftercare of his patient. Dr Naik is a great surgeon and he knows his stuff. He has done this for some time now and I am very pleased with my surgery and my scar.

My very first impression of my doctor was oh my goodness this gorgeous guy is going to see all of me. He put me at ease and was very professional. His office staff was very nice.

Young guy - a little worried due to his age - however, when he spoke he was very professional and knew what he was talking about. When I met him at my consult - he was extremely professional - and althought sitting there naked in an oversized gown made me feel a bit intimidated - he and his assistant Karen were extremely knowledgeable and soooooo soooo sweet!!

Dr. Niak's office is comfortable and his staff in very friendly.

I dont think there was anything i didnt like. I definately had a concern - such a young doctor performing such a sensitive srugery - he still has not performed very many surgeries on his own - but his experience in assisting in hundreds on surgeries along with the confidence his staff has in him - I am definately comfortable with him.

Future patients should know that he is very caring but more importantly knowledgable.

Dr. Niak and his staff definately emphasized aftercare - not just durng recovery - but as a lifestyle and lifetime change. Definately let me know this is not as easy as it may sound. I will defiantely have to work at this and make a lyfestyle change. He warned me of the posibility of returning right back to where I am now if I do not take care of myself in the way I need to.

Definately has an aftercare program - not just recovery - but throughout my weight loss experience.

Dr. Niak was very frank when it came to risks - although they are not likely - he took this portion of our consult very seriously.

I would rate Dr. Niak as a 8 from what I have experienced so far.

I want a doctor who can both take care of my physically and emotionally/spiritually. I need to feel comfortable enough to say I am scared - and comfortable enough to say I am happy. He defiantely needs both - bedside manners and surgical competence.

I saw Dr Nirav Naik on 4/8/04. My first impression was that he is incredibly cute! He was very professional, very down to earth, and handled my husbands questions as professionally as my own. The office staff is wonderful. Of course, I can say that because one of the front office ladies is my good friend. I am an RN so I will take surgical competence over bedside manner anyday, but with Dr. Naik you get both. I will write more after I have more interaction with him. Dr's Naik and Irani are in practice together and they work alongside Bariatric Solutions of San Joaquin Hospital to help coordinate the whole process.
