Dr Kam is a great guy and I highly reccommend him. In fact some of the people I work with went to see him about wls. He told me I was the best adverisement he has. I think he is great.rnrnAt first we didn't hit it off but on the second meeting he was really great. His manners in the followup visits have been great and he reccommends things that make sense to help me out. rnrnIf you need wls and are near Ypsilanti, go see him he is the best. After my 1 year check up, I would reccommend even more. He is down to earth and a very positive individual. If you need the surgery, you need Dr, Kam.
Dr. Kam is awesome...very professional, but down to earth. The entire staff at Barix...from the reception, to nursing and pre-op techs are amazing. You really feel like YOUR well being is #1.rnDr. Kam WANTS to see you for your Post-Op appts....they are in your best interest...rnHe's straightforward about the risks....and possible complications...he goes over everything very thoroughly and invites you to ask questions.rnrnSo far (2 days before surgery) I give him a 10/10 for my overall impression of him, his competence and his manner with me as a patient.rnrnI would recommend him to anyone!rnrnStay tuned for my Post-Op impressions....
I was one of doctor Featherstones first lap band patients .He is a great doctor i would recomend him to anyone looking for a good surgeon.He keeps you informed to what is going on .Hie office staff are all very nice people.
Dr. Kam is very personable and friendly and really sits down and speaks with you, listens and answers any questions that you may have. He also is happy to share his thoughts and give advice when asked. His staff are top notch and I cannot think of anything that I have found to dislike about either himself or his staff. He places much emphasis on pre op care as well as post op programs and there certainly is a structured aftercare program. Help and information is only a phone call away with Barix. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this surgeon, the staff or clinic to anyone considering this course for long term success at weight loss and a healthier lifestyle.
I had my initial surgical consult today with Dr Nizzi. I have been to him in the past for a colonoscopy, so I already had a high opinion of him. I felt completely comfortable with Dr Nizzi. He was very informative and relaxed. I didn't feel that he was rushed at all. In fact, my appointment went over 2 hours, which from what he said, is not a rare thing.rnI also have a high opinion of Mary Kay, Sharon and the rest of the staff. Aftercare and support meetings are stressed as being key components. I really found the dietician that works with this office to be a big help. She had lots of great ideas.rnI would rate Dr Nizzi's competence and bedside manner as excellent. There have been three doctors in my lifetime that I trusted and felt totally at ease with, and Dr Nizzi is one of those. I have no hesitations whatsoever about surgery as long as Dr Nizzi is the surgeon.
Dr Kam was a very nice doctor. Very straight forward and to the point. he answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. I feel very safe in his hands and believe I have mad a wise choice in doctors. his office staff were all nice and very understanding. Barxic Clinic is very clean and comfortable. they only thing I didn't like was getting to the hospital/clinic. it was very confusing but I did fing it in the end.
