Mercy Iowa City Bariatric Center

I had my initial consultation last week, however, I contacted the program over a month ago. From the first phone call I was impressed with how nice Sara is. But that is just one person, I thought. After the consultation I was in tears. EVERYONE of the staff members were the exact same way! They're obviously very educated on the topic, extremely welcoming, stressed repeatedly to contact them with questions or concerns, and Dr. S. talked with me about why he prefers one surgery for me given my health history over others. Everything he said made perfect sense. This was not the first program I've had a consultation with but I was less than impressed with the other one. They were night and day difference! I'm so happy I'm beginning this journey with such a knowledgeable, welcoming, and supportive team!
