Liv-Lite Surgical Weight Loss Program Indiana Bariatric Center

I first met Dr Burry as he was walking through the unit I work on at my hospital. I introduced my self and he stopped and visited with me for a few minutes. This impressed me because I know how doctors can be. The staff at LivLite are all wonderful, I never had to deal with insurance or any of that stuff, they handled everything. There is a great deal of emphasize placed on aftercare. Dr burry explained all possible risks. He has a great bedside manner as well as excellent surgical competence. I give Dr Burry and his staff a 12 on a 1-10 scale.

Dr. Burry is wonderful, very caring and friendly with a great bed side manner. The staff Penny and Tracey are the best. We always had a blast at my visits. Its like an extended family. The pre-care and after care programs are great and everyone is very informational. Anytime I had called before and after surgey they would always conact me ASAP on a return call. I would rate Dr. Burry with a 10+ and this staff the same if not higher.. Its is a very special group and i love them all...

I liked Dr. Burry. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. My impression did not change of him.Office staff was very helpful and friendly. It first a little hesitate of him because he had not done very many laps before mine. I would recomend him and his staff to anyone. After care was stressed a LOT. It was stressed it was a major surgury and there were risks. He was a very good surgeon and checked on me during my stay at the hospital. Made sure I had what I needed when I left. He and his staff are very caring people.

Dr. Burry is awesome. I am very confident in his surgical abilities. He is very firm in saying that this surgery is a tool and that it is up to us to put the tool to use. He is a younger doctor and I feel at ease with him.

The staff at Liv-Lite are absolutely wonderful. They all go above and beyond what they have to do. Penny and Traci hold a special place in my heart. They really do care about their patients and it shows in their smiles when they greet you!

Liv-Lite has an awesome aftercare program. They have onsite exercise specialists and dieticians. You get to meet with them at your appointments before and after surgery. You are supported by this office 100%.

I would rate Dr. Burry and the guys at Liv-Lite a 11 on a scale of 1 to 10!

My first impression was great, so personable and I feel like I can relate to him since he is down to earth and younger--closer to my age than other doctors, :)
His office staff is wonderful, I couldn't ask for a better group, Traci and Penny have helped me so much along the way and the whole Liv Lite program makes sure you are on the right track in this journey. Future patients can be rest assured that they are picking the right bariatric program. Of course you have to do your part, but they make the process so much easier. The aftercare program is structured, I'm getting ready to have surgery tomorrow but I know I will be in good hands. In comparing the Liv Lite program to other surgeons programs that my friends have had, I believe I have truly picked the best.

Both my husband and I had WLS last year. Dr. Burry is an excellent surgeon and there to answer any questions along the way. He is very personable. Dr. Burry has given my husband and myself the tools we needed to have a healthier life! We were well informed before, during, and after the surgery about every aspect of WLS. Dr. Burry and his staff get a 10 out of 10 from me.

When I first met Dr. Burry, I felt at ease. He was very approachable, answered all my "stupid" questions without seeming annoyed and he explained the process indepth until it was understood. He wanted us to understand exactly what the surgery entailed as well as the journey after surgery. His staff at Liv-Lite are AWESOME!! They are so compassionate and would do anything for their patients. You are definately not a number, you are an individual!! Dr Burry and his team have developed a binder full of reference information that he personally goes over with his patients in a "one-on-one" conference. The Liv-Lite team has an informative movie that you watch. I guarantee that you will know almost everything about the befores, durings and afters. If I were starting this process, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't change anything. The Deaconess Liv-Lite Team are the best!!!!!!!!! THANKS YOU GUYS!!!!

Dr. Burry saved my life literally. On the day of surgery as they are prepping me. I got a really bad case of jitters. NO one was going to talk me into surgery. Dr. Burry came in and told me point blank, Donna you came to me to help solve your problems, today if you leave you are leaving with the same set of problems you have been battling for the past 15 years. That very statement saved my life. Thank you Dr. Burry. I had the surgery on 09/16 and I am doing fine.

Thanks to him and his wonderful supportive staff I will be a new person very very soon.

They are very helpful, they take time for you and answer you question, also a couple of the lady have had to surgery thereself.

They talk alot about after care and it is a whole program it's not just the surgery and they let you go.

He told you about the good sides and also what could happen.I had a blood clot right after my surgery but it was taking care of very quickly.

Dr. Burry seemed to enjoy his work and wanted people to be very informed about the surgery before they agree to have it.

Dr. Burry takes the time needed to answer questions for the patients and listens to how the patient feels. He also keeps the patient informed about possible solutions when complications arise (with him makeing the ultimate decision for safety purposes).

The liv-lite staff is extremly friendly and appear to care about the patients. They are also strict about following the program.

I had complications after the surgery and had to have another surgery to correct the problem. I was somewhat upset about having the pain from the complications. I guess the complications were not possible to prevent.

Aftercare was emphasized very much from the first appointment. They make it very clear that the surgery is a tool but the work is the patient's responsibility.

The risks of surgery were discussed in detail at the first appointment and information about risks were given to us to take home and read.
