Dr. Farhan is very nice and professional

Dr. Farhan was awesome. He explained in detail everything that COULD happen with the surgery. He made sure I understood ALL the risks and benefits before making the decision to go thru with the surgery. The staff was great. Especially Devora, Julie, and Ida. Ida has since moved on to other things, but both Julie and Devora are still there. I will be honest, I was a little frustrated with him at my 3 month check-up because he said I needed to lose more weight at a faster rate. Well, by my 6 month check-up, I had lost a total of 107 pounds and he said I was doing well. I'm sorry if anyone reading this feels it is suspect, but I truly had a great surgeon and I would highly recommend Dr. Farhan.

I had my consult with him on 2/2/05. Very nice man, very kind, informative, and caring. The staff was very freindly also. Am just waiting on a date.

I liked dr farhan right off the bat he was kind and answered all my questions without thinking they were silly no matter how small of a question.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS GOOD HE CAME IN AND LOOKED AT MY FILE AND THEN HE AND I TALKED FOR ABOUT 15 TO 20 MINS AND SAID WE DIFFENTLY NEED TO GET THIS WEIGHT OFF OF YOU HE SAID YOUR ONLY 25YRS OLD AND WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE 80. EVENTHOUGH I HAD SOME COMORBITES HE DID REQUIRE ANY ADDITONAL LABS AND PROCEDURES WHICH WAS GREAT FOR ME. MY SURGERY ISNT UNTILL FEB 15TH BUT BASED ON MY FIRST IMPRESSION DR.FARHAN SEEMS TO BE VERY KIND AND STRIGHT TO THE POINT!

DR FARHAN HAS A WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER.

DR FARHAN HAS BOTH, HES A WONDERFUL DOCTOR.

Dr Farhan seemed to be a very knowledgeable and capably Surgeon when I first met him. This impression has not changed. Dr Wagner assisted him; both Doctors visited me throughout my stay at Hurley.
Their office staff are very caring and find answers to all of your questions.
Hurley gave us a lot of literature upon returning home. If you weren't sure about something, the people at Hurley were readily available to assist you with advice.
Dr Farhan did tell me of the risks of surgery; but I was blessed and breezed right through the different stages without any serious problems.
I would definitely go to Dr Farhan again. I was very pleased with his competent and professional manner.

Dr. Farhan was very informative and up front about the surgery. My impression of Dr. Farhan is still the same I think that he is a good surgen and that I done well after my surgery. The office staff is friendly and always will to spend time answering any of my questions. The only thing I can really think of is that during my stay in the hopsital is saw more of the surgeon that assisted Dr. Farhan than I did him. The whole team at Hurley emphasized the aftercare. How important that it is to follow the plan and to atten support group meetings. I would rate the program as a whole at a 9 only because there is always room to improve. As far as surgical competence was better than his bedside manner.

My first impression of Dr Farhan was that he is very approachable, he conveys a verykind and freindly demeanor. He is very knowledgeable and wanted to ensure that I was completely educated on the surgery and the risks. He went so far as to suggest that I reconsider whether or not I had tried all other mean. His office staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. One of the most interesting things about Dr Frhan and Hurley Center for Comprehensive wieght loss was that 2 of thier 4 surgeons are in on EACH surgery. Thier highly stress aftercare and even have you consult with the dietician at the first meeting. I am very confident and comfortable with Dr Farhan. He has done over 500 surgeries personally and HUrley has performed nearly 2000.
