Hadar Spivak M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center
Dr. Spivak provided a great informational session and has a terrific bedside manner. His staff is very efficient and helpful. The only negative to date is limited aftercare programs. He does not offer formal nutritional or psychological programs for his patients. He provides referrals to professionals that I do not feel have gastric bypass experiences.
He is a great surgeon. His office staff is very helpfull too!
Wonderful caring doctor. Great bedside manner. From day one I felt very comfortable with Dr. Spivak. He answered all of my questions. He and his staff are good. rnI was banded in March '05. Most of his patients were referred to the Houston Area BAndsters Support group, but Just recently I believe he has started a structured aftercare program in his office.
I have read so many comments about Dr. Spivak and it seems everyone feels the same. I can only say he is....SIMPLY THE BEST!rnrnIf you are considering WLS please attend a seminar with him you will not be sorry. Everything he is associated with is outstanding from his practice to his office staff to the hospital (Park Plaza). rnrn
Dr. Hadar Spivak is, undoubtedly, the absolute best bariatric surgeon around. I attended one other Houston area surgeon's seminar and was not impressed. Dr. Spivak presented himself as a very intelligent, experienced, and warm person. Throughout the two plus years since my banding, I have grown even more impressed with both him and his office staff. He is constantly available 24/7 via his answering service and an average wait time for a return call is about 10 minutes TOPS. He is consistent, caring, and extremely approachable.
Dr. Spivak is such a wonderful person. He really understands what I am going through and his office staff has worked so hard to make sure that I have this surgery and that I was in by the end of the year. What a way to RING in the New Year. When I first saw him I was not sure what I wanted...the lap band or the gastric. He talked to me about both of them and told me what he suggested but also told me that I had to make the final decision. That no one knew me better than I knew myself. He takes time to listen and he really took note of my past medical history. Because I had 2 sisters that past away due to Breast Cancer her sent me to Baylor for a consultation. That was very informative. I would rate Dr. Spivak and his staff a \"10\"...please remember that I am scheduled for surgery on 12.28.06.
