I really like Dr. Baptista. He seems down to earth and let me know that he would make sure I was taken care of. He practices with Dr. Cywes, who also is very nice. They definitly take the approach that you have to work to lose weight, and will call you out on it if they believe that you are not behaving.rnrnI can tell you that the office is very busy and it took a month to get into each appointment. They have a very structured program and expect you to follow it. rnrn
FANTASTIC! Jovial bedside manner. rnGives you a private cell# to call for anything after surgery. He was cracking jokes before I went into surgery and while I was transferring onto the surgical table. He put me at ease and even visited with me in recovery. WOW! He is the right person for the job!rnHis way of conveying information to you is in total layman's terminology. I felt like I was kept in the loop. Phenominal experience. rnHis staff actually returns calls!
I first encountered Dr. Baptista at the seminar on 7/31/08. He was very friendly, and I immediately liked him. He answered all questions and explained everything completely. I am looking forward to my first appointment!!
Dr. Baptista is absolutely WONDERFUL! From the first time I met him at the seminar I knew that he was empathetic to my situation without being judgemental and knew that he would support me through the entire process. The first one on one meeting I had with him he spent at least 30 minutes talking to me about where I was at and where I wanted to go. I told him that I was in this to lose ALL my excess weight not just a percentage and he told me that with my determination they will help me get there. I remember the morning of the surgery when I was in the waiting room and he was walking by to find the previous patients family member he saw me smiled and walked over to me and gentley squeezed my arm for a bit of reassurance. I was a bit nervous and that made me feel better. My surgery went off without a hitch and I am 1.5 weeks post-surgery and feeling great. I would recommend Dr. Baptista to EVERYONE!
