Amazing doctor, my recovery went well. Dr. Stowers is very nice and personable he made me very comfortable with the entire surgery. The office staff was so nice and worked with me when I would show up late. The only negative thing I can say is that i never saw him after my surgery. His nurses do your fills afterward, I figured i would see him again. Also, i have been told by another surgeon that my scarring is very bad that I was cut wrong I have no idea what that means but my scars heal more and more with time. I also like that when i get fills It is done with an x-ray machine. It makes it a lot faster and precise. I was up and moving the next day after the surgery. If I had to do it again I would and wouldn't choose any other doctor. Bariatric Solutions is amazing.

I am so happy with Dr. Stowers and his staff. I live in the DFW so I have hundreds of doctors to pick from. I think he is in the top. It is like he always knows what to say, even when you did not ask the question out loud. He is a very personal surgeon. Actually takes the time to sit with you and talk. He leaves you with a hug and a congrats to your success.
His office staff (Leisha) and the other nurses are great. Sorry I do not know all the names yet. I have only had one fill so far. The front desk staff is great too. Always makes you feel welcome. I really do not know anything negative... maybe the location. I live in the south FW area and his office is up north. It is well worth the drive. But it would be nice not to have an hour drive. On the bright side it is only once a month :)

Dr. Stowers is wonderful!! I highly recommend him. His staff is also wonderful!

I have had my initial visit with Dr. Stowers. I will meet with him again on the 15th of January. I liked him with the first meeting. He is quiet, he really makes good eye contact and listens when you speak. He takes all the time you need to answer questions. His office staff are very friendly and willing to help. I will know more about his after care program after my next visit. As of now I feel he is competent and confident and that makes me confident I have made the right choice.rnrnI had my surgery on January 23rd. Dr. Stowers was great. I saw him every day, sometimes twice a day. He made me feel special. I liked him from the first and my impression has not changed. I would recommend him to anyone. I feel his is a very competent surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner.rnrnI just saw Dr.Stowers last month for my 2 year check up. Everything was great. He is still as kind and unhurried as every. He is as genuine today as he was the first time I met him. I have no regrets on my surgery or my surgeon.

My name is Kelsee Bartlett. I have been looking into Gastric Bypass for over two years. My mother just had the operation last year with Dr. Syn in Lubbock Texas. My mom, who just went to her class reunion, was voted the \"Hottie\" of her class, haha! I have not met Dr. Stowers to date, but so far his office staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! I have the workshop and consultation on Oct. 6th and I am too ready! I encourage anyone that they need to call the office staff if you have any questions, they are great. I will keep everyone posted.

Dr. Stowers seemed to be very personable and very educated in weight loss surgery. Since meeting him, that opinion has not changed. He seems to truly care about his patients and their health. His office staff are some of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. He puts most of his emphasis on aftercare and how I make this \"tool\" VSG work for me. I was very informed of the risks of surgery and was made to feel very secure that I was in good hands with him.

Doc Stowers is the best in my opinion. He's got an excellent way of explaining things. His staff (Gayle and Melinda) are a great bunch of ladies. He's always available to answer any questions. Strictly top notch. I credit him for helping me save my life. I'm down 89 lbs. since surgery 8/6/07. I can't thank Doc and all his crew enough.rnrnForrest

My first impression of Dr. Stowers was awesome! He was very pleasant, friendly and just overall amazing. I knew immediately I would be in good hands. Over time my impression has not changed. The office staff is very friendly and caring. They return calls in a very timely manner and are very responsive to my needs. I don't think there was anything I didnt like about him. I would recommend him to anyone considering WLS. Aftercare is emphasized and the program is the best I have found in the state. I have done much research and know many other surgeons/facilities in the area and Dr.Stowers is my choice. All of the risks were reviewed in detail and he honestly answered questions. On a scale of 1-10 he is a 20! I am in the medical field and I will go no where else.

Dr. Stowers is the greatest. Melinda and Gayle are most helpful!!! I've been asked over and over if I had to do my lapband again.. my response is \"Yes, in a heartbeat\" Dr. Stowers is so helpful and understanding! Excellent bedside matter.
