Eric Hahn Bariatrics Bariatric Center
I had my orientation on March 18th and Dr. Hahn was the speaker. I was very impressed with him. When I met with him one on one I really began to trust that I would be in good hand. Overall the staff at Fremont Kaiser is very knowledgable and supportive. The toughest thing to deal with is the long drawn out process but I look foward to getting on the losing side of things.
'Is it a bad thing to FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR SURGEON???? hahaha.. seriously though.. Dr. Hahn is an amazing person!! he's intelligent calm
I had my laproscopic RNY on Sept. 13 2005 and Dr. Hahn was fantastic!! He was incredibly attentive during my 3 days at Kaiser Fremont Hospital, visiting me 2 or 3 times a day. This was my first experience with any kind of surgery or hospital stay and Dr. Hahn and all the wonderful nurses at Fremont Kaiser made it as comfortable and enjoyable as they could. I am now nearly 6 months post-op, having lost 65 lbs. and have had no complications.
First impression: He was a little cold but was to the point on all the things that I need to do also every thing that I would need when I get home from the hospital.
Office staff was very helpful.
He covered every thing very well and made sure that I understood everything and all the risks of surgery.
When the day came for surgery when he came to see me before he was very nice and careing to make sure that I was at ease. Yes he has a structured aftercare program and he sends it home with you.
Overall I would rate him a 9.9
surgical competence and bedside manner are both great.
My first impression of Doctor Hahn is that he was very personable but a very busy man. The office staff were absolutely fabulous. So personable. That is all I can say about him so far.
Very personable, took his time and answered all of my questions and I feel very comfortable with him. I met the other two surgeons at Fremont, Dr. Dutta and Dr. Dennen whom I also liked very much. I would feel comfortable with any of them and they were all very personable and seem to be very caring and commmited to this program. They have a complete program, before and after, including a support group that meets on site at Kaiser-Fremont, which meets twice monthly. They all seem to have a pretty good track record judging by all of the patients that show up for the support group and I am confident that they are excellent surgeons.
My first impression was wonderful. I think he is no nonsense and very straighforward about this surgery. I spoke briefly with him one on one today and was very comfortable with him. I think time will only make things better. I found out today, 12-17, that I will actually be having surgery with Dr. Hahn in Fremont with either Dr. Dennen or Dr. Dutta assisting. This is fine with me, Dr. Hahn was extemely nice and didn't leave me feeling uneasy at all. Dr. Hahn is specifically trained in laprascopic surgeries so that makes me feel a bit better.
