Dyer MD Weight Loss Surgery Bariatric Center

Dr. David Dyer was my surgeon. I would not have done this surgery anywhere else than with Centennial! The staff and nurses were wonderful from day one until now with all my before and after care.

Dr. Dyer is what I like to call a "straight shooter." He is calm and to the point, which I like. I was immediately comfortable with him. He did not rush me, nor did he talk down to me. In fact, he made me feel comfortable during a very vulnerable and scarey time.

Dr. Dyer has wonderful staff! Robyn & Joanna are encouraging and empathetic. I felt accepted and cared for while I was with them in the office. On the phone, they are friendly and supportive and always seeking to be of service.

I highly recommend Dr. Dyer and his staff to all my friends interested in gastric surgery.

Oh well the staff i could go on on on they were wonderful Joanna, went way out of her way to help me with my surgery she is a gem. And Robin she falls in the same place as Joanna. My name is Mildred A. Jones. I have been a patient of Dr. David Dyer's approximately 3 months. I had a Roux N Y (gastric bypass) on October 1, 2009. I am now 3 weeks paost-op.

From my first office visit till present, Dr. Dyer has been very professional in his approach to me. I was thoroughly informed about what to expect from him, what to expect from surgery, the risks of surgery, what he expected me to do before and after surgery, and strongly encourages you to attend support group meetings. Dr Dyer is very knowledgeable and up-to-date in his field.

Dr. Dyer and his staff are friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, they do their best to answer each and everyone. They want you to call the office at any time should you have any concerns about your health.

Surgical competence and having a good bedside manner are very important. When someone chooses to have surgery you want to know that your surgeon is very competent in his field of practice. At the same time, the surgeon needs to have a great bedside manner, because that patient is putting their faith (and life) in his hands. The surgeon needs to let the patient know he understands their concerns in orde to put them at ease. In my opinion, Dr Dyer does all this and more.

I first met Dr. Dyer @ my seminar and I knew when the seminar was over, that he would be the one to do my surgery.
The office staff are really nice to deal with.
Dr. Dyer's staff will assist you in every way possible, you can really tell they love their work.
Your aftercare is very important to them and they emphasize that very strongly. They will be treating you for the rest of your life.
Dr. Dyer emphasized the risks of surgery very strongly. He wants you to understand there are some strong risks involved as with any surgery you have.
Overall, I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. I am very pleased with him and the staff.
I feel that Dr. Dyer is very competent, and his bedside manner seems to be great. I haven't had the surgery yet, but everything is great so far.

I knew when I attended a seminar last summer that Dr. Dyer would be who I would like to perform my procedure. He was very through in his explanations and seemed to really know his \"craft\". He explained the risks associated with each type of surgery(realize band)and what to expect afterward. Dr. Dyer seemed extremely knowledgeable when I attended the seminar now over 1 year ago. His staff working the seminar was extremely helpful and kind and treated everyone with the respect we deserved. As time went on and I moved closer to making a decision, Dr. David Dyer and his staff were very helpful in providing me the information I needed to make the best decision for me both financially and health-wise for the long-term. One thing I found Dr. Dyer and his staff emphasize was following their \"lap band bible\" which outlines your diet and many other steps to follow in order to be successful with the surgery, and also focused on their support groups. Dr. Dyer sat down with me for a thorough review of each surgery option and I chose Lap-Band as my main option. On the day of surgery, prior to entering the operating room, Dr. Dyer greeted me, spoke with me briefly about the procedure, my concerns, and his expectations. The surgery went over great, all things considered, and my post-op follow ups have been tremendous. Dr. Dyer still stresses the diet and support groups and his staff mentioned I've done very good with the Lap-Band, now losing over 33% of my excess body weight in less than 4 months post-op, bringing my weight down to 290lbs (down from 370+ lbs). I am very satisfied with his staff's continued support and smiles, and his knowledgeable expertise in bariatric surgery.
