HE WAS NICE AND VERY INFORMATIVE.

I contacted Dr. Ash's office after doing some research on the Internet. My first contact was with Susan, and then with Charlotte, and they are so incredibly helpful. They sent me a packet of information, and I filled it out and mailed it back to them. My insurance company (United HealthCare) approved after the first letter.

I had my first meeting with Dr. Ash in March, 2002. He is very helpful, very polite, very informative, and willing to answer any and all questions. I was concerned because I live two hours away, but he assured me that this is not a "surgery center," and I will be taken care of for follow-ups and in case of any complications.

My surgery is scheduled for April 17, 2002.

He is very kind. He is a great surgeon. He did not push me to do anything I wasn't ready for. The office staff is very friendly. It is a small office so it is a little easier to get through than in a bigger office. The office has never done this sort of thing before so it is a little difficult for them but it will get better.

2/9/01 Susan, Kim, and Misty called me and had me on speaker phone when they gave me the good news that I am APPROVED!!!!!! They cried and I cried. They were almost as excited as I was. They have been so understanding and supportive since this journey began. I appreciate them so much.

Dr. Ash came to Dublin a little over a year ago. He also specializes in Aesthetic Surgery (Plastic Surgery) and he has very good results. He is a very down-to-earth guy who is very sympathetic to the patients needs. Dr. John Souza will be my assisting surgeon. Dr. Souza and I opened up the office in 1998 and he has done really well in Dublin.

Well, we have a wonderful office staff... I may be a little prejudice. The girls work really good together and they really care about the success of our practice and the patients.

Both of our physicians stress the importance of continued follow-up and attending our monthly support group.

Both physicians follow the patient quite frequently at first and then monthly if the patient is doing well.

The patients at our center are required to review a very detailed information pack discussing all the risks, benefits and alternatives to the surgery. They also take a test to see how much they understand. The physician also has a in-depth discussion regarding all of this with the patient and his or her spouse, etc.

I would rate both of our surgeons in the high 90's. They both a very competent and have a great bedside manner.
