Dr Schreiber was a very understanding and compasionate man the first time I met him. He was very nice to my family members who made the trip with me. The staff he has assembled at his office are very first class people both in caring and understanding. I was just scheduled for my surgery so I will keep everyone updated as the journey progresses.

I thought Dr.Sonpal was great from the first meeting.My impression has not changed one bit. He is the Best.The office staff is as great as he is.Very helpful.There is not one thing I can say I didn't like.He is very informative.They all have been wonderful after the surgery and before surgery.I think the whole cleveland baractric staff are the best.I think the sugical competence is most important.

Dr. Sonpan was very professional when I met him, yet also made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. His office staff have been great with helping me get my insurance approval, etc.

My first impression of Dr. Schreiber was that he had a great sense of humor. He was wearing a tie that was colorful and had these bright colored bugs on them. While talking to him, I realized that he really knows his stuff and understands what people are feeling. He was very straight forward and laid all the cards out on the table for me. I appreciated that. He answered all of my questions. I have ran into some problems, intestinal cramping and I know that Dr Schreiber will do everything possible to make me feel better. I love him! The more I talked to Dr Screiber or to Dr Sonpal, the more I feel comfortable to let my guard down. They listen to their patients, that means the world to us. The staff is great. After the second surgery for an obstruction, I went into a deep depression. Everyone in the office knew me first of all, and they care so much about me. They truely understand what I am going though and they check up on me all the time. I felt rushed in our first interveiw but he did answer all of my questions and told me different sites and people that I could go to to get more information. I was surprised to find out that both Dr Schriber and Dr Sonpal work as a team at all times. They really care and want what is best for each one of their patients. They treat each of us an individuals as a person not just an income. They are wonderful Doctors, and I owe my life to them. The after care is very very important! They ask you every time if you are following the program. And they let you know that they can only do so much for you, you have to do the rest yourself if you want the results. They program is very structured and updated. It has helped me find answers to some of the everyday questions. It's very helpful. Like I said before, he plays no games when if come to surgery. He will tell u like it is, straight forward. He wants you to understand that this is a life change, and it is! Everything in my life has changed. It's very hard to understand but Dr Schreiber and Dr Sonpal have given me back my life. I can never thank them and the staff enough. I love Dr Schreiber, I really can't rate him. If I had to he is off the scales. He is an Excellent doctor. Dr Screiber has great bedside manners and surgical competence. He jokes with you, makes you laugh and knows how to raise your spirits. And best of all he knows his stuff! I am honored to have him as my doctor and I trust him whole heartedly.

Met the doctor for the first time today 3/6. He was nice and all that...He took my history and told me I qualify.
That was it...so we shall see

Dr.Schreiber and his office staff have been wonderful!! I can't say enough good things about them. I only wish it wouldn't take so long to get the surgery done, but that is not their fault. Sooo many people want the surgery done and to everyone who is thinking of getting this done-go for it.They really emphasize aftercare alot. You will even meet with the dietician before you go to surgery and they will be there to meet with you in the hospital any time you need them. The one thing that I do like about the center and the whole staff is that they are very honest with you about risks and complications, and they are also very honest with you about pain managment.

I met with Dr. Sonpal (Schrieber and Sonpal) in December, 2001 and found him to be warm, informative and very professional. Additionally, the staff members were helpful (especially Sherry, who handles insurance matters)and truthfully the process went very quickly.

In January, 2001, I attended a seminar Dr. Sonpal's office presents to potential clients interested in WLS. This was very informative and pretty much made up my mind. After care support, adherence to the recommended nutrition/exercise guidelines, and dedication to changing one's lifestyle were clearly emphasized and stressed as critical to the success of the surgery.

Right then and there I realized this was serious business, and I decided if it was meant to be and theinsuranceapproved the surgery that this had to be the right thing for me to do.

Sherry filed the insurance and my insurance company approved the surgery right away. Truthfully, I expected a battle and was stunned that they said yes. Sherry set up my preop date as June 1, 2001 and my surgery is set for June 22, 2001.

I can't wait for my life to really "begin" on June 23, 2001. I appreciate all the support and prayers, and I will do likewise to everyone considering this surgery.

Dr. Schreiber is very professional. His office staff are the most helpful and knowledgable gals I have ever met. Extremely caring. The seem very busy.

I met Dr. Schreiber on my inital visit. He was informative and answered each of my questions with real honest answers that satisfied me. I think this is the first doctor who didn't feel the need to make major notice of how overwight I am. I actually felkt very comfortable talking to him.

I first met Dr. Sonpal on Jan 2nd 2001. It took approx. 3 months to get in. My first impression was very positive. There is a slight quirkiness to my personality and I wasn't sure if he would "get it". What I found is that he has a great sense of humor and speaks very clearly. I will update more later because we only had the one meeting.
