Dr. Lahmann let me know from Day 1 that I was part of the family, which is the truth. He is very understanding and helpful when it comes to his patients. He explained everything carefully and made me feel comfortable with understanding the entire process. His staff is just as gracious, understanding and helpful. He is a wonderful surgeon and was highly recommended to me as well. I approve!!! Oh yea, he also has a very good sence of humor. Thank you Dr. Lahmann.

Dr. Joyce is to the point, very friendly and you can tell he cares about you being informed. He doesnt beat around the bush and I like that. I am so happy that Dr. Joyce is my new surgeon. The old surgeon told me he wouldnt take medicare because they were a headache and never paid but I found out from Dr. Joyce and medicare that Medicare will pay almost 100% as long as your surgeon is part of a center of excellence. So much for my 1st surgeon being honest with me. Also, Dr Joyces' staff are so sweet. The clinic also offers you post-op exercise classes, nutritional classes is you need them, support groups and even a clothing exchange!!! More later!

Dr. Lahmann is a soft-spoken caring man that makes you feel as if you are most important patient. He is easy going but very professional and meticulous. He will spend as much time with you as you need and explains every detail of the before and after. The office staff are very friendly and the aftercare is very structured and you are expected to participate. Your followup appointments are scheduled in conjunction with an educational seminar. I would recommend Dr. Lahmann to anyone! He's the best!

He is an excellent surgeon. He is very compassionate and knowledgable. Dr Lahman is a skillful surgeon who is precise and dilligent. He takes his care to the ultimate level. Dr Lahman performs each surgery with another top notch doc, Dr Joyce. Together the two make the best team around. I am very satisfied with their work and have no complaints.

Dr. Lahmann is the best he is my angel he is avery very very ...caring gifted and talented Dr. he always has time for you and treats you like you are family ifeel great have had no problems my surgery was 10/31/05 iam down 123lbs since may i lost some weight before surgery i can not say enough about Dr Lahmann he goes over everything with you and makes sure you are comfortable and have all the knowledge you can even after surgery you still meet with him and he offers programs for us his staff is wonderful also i wanted this surgery for a long time and did a lot of research and when i met Dr. Lahmann i knew it was for me this is the best thing i have done in my life and meeting DrLahmann was like winning the lottery he gave me a whole new life

I met Dr. Christopher Joyce for the first time and I was very impressed with his medical training. He really cared and took the time to listen to my problems. I feel I made the best choice in choosing him to do the surgery. I could only wish all doctors were like him and take the time to understand how people that are overweight really feel. We didnt ask to be this way. I give Dr.Joyce two thumbs up!

Dr. Joyce is wonderful. He is open and honest about surgery and surgical risks and results. He has been so supportive and continues to show his concern and support even 6 months post-op. The program that Dr. Joyce and his staff provide is excellent. You are not only taken care of pre-op and immediately post-op but are provided with quality care involving nutritional advice, exercise programs and emotional support for as long as you wish to receive these services. Compared to other programs that I have researched and heard about, Dr. Joyce and his staff rate far above all others! They have significantly helped me improve my quality of life!

Dr Joyce is a God-send. He is the most caring doctor I have seen. He is a perfectionist and that is a great attribute when choosing a surgeon. His staff is so supportive and caring. I feel like a member of the family when I visit. The program his office provides is very structured in eating and excercise requirements, plus they really expect you to follow it and offer to help you anyway they can. I know it works because my mom is 1 year post op from this same center and she has done awesome! Dr Joyce rates out of a scale 1 to 10 as a 15! He is very competent doctor and his bedside manner makes you feel at ease. I feel blessed to have had my surgery with Midwest Bariatrics!

My first impression of Dr. Joyce is that he knows what he is doing and cares very much about his patients. He has a very soft way about him that maked me feel secure. I think that he is a blessing! As for his staff, they are just amazing and I love them all. I couldnt now have done this without them!

They all discussed the surgery with me..the good the bad and the ugly. Aftercare is extensive with Dr. Joyce so you are not hanging on your own at all.

I would rate Dr. Joyce and his staff about 1,000,000 out of 10!!!

When I first met Dr. Lahmann I thought "my goodness he is very yount". He is so empathetic and very thorough in his communications. He does not rush and gives plenty of time to ask questions. He is very kind and has a great bedside manner. His staff is caring and helpful. I always get to talk to someone who can answer my questions.

He gives each patient a large binder with pre-op through a year post-op. Everything is covered. He stresses that success depends on us to do our part with excercise and eating the recommended high protein diet.

I am scheduled for a meeting with other post-op patients and there are others scheduled. They give several choices of excercise programs in the binder.

Dr. Lahmann was very clear about the risks of the surgery, but his skill as a surgeon has shown no evidence of any in my instance.

Dr. Lahmann is very positive, encouraging, and I can't think of a better doctor in my past experience. He is great in his surgical competence and bedside manner!!
