Bariatrics of Texas Bariatric Center
My husband and I met with Dr. Warnock and left feeling that he was a confident and competent surgeon. He explained every thing in detail and answered all of our questions. I was hoping to find someone to do a Lap RNY. However, after meeting with other surgeons and doing a lot of research on the web, I felt that Dr. Warnock would be the best surgeon for me. His experiance is a key factor in my decision. I am scheduled for surgery on the 8th of Feb., and will be updating this as my experiances progress.rnrnP.S. Dr. Warnock's belief that God's hands play a roll in this processes, is a BIG plus to me.
I met with Dr. Warnock for my first consultation on 11/10/06. I had read the great reviews of how nice he was and they are all true. He took time to explan the procedure with drawing a picture to make sure we had a clear understanding of the RNY bypass. My husband liked him as when he talks he made us both feel a part of the consult. I am to lose 15 pounds before surgery using his Protein Diet. I have already loss 10 of those pounds so my surgery date has been set. rnHis office staff are friendly some more than others. He has a very busy office so I am sure some days are more stressful for them than others. rnThe only down side is the time you wait to see him but, knowing he will take his time with you I don't mind the wait. I am looking forward to attending one of his support group meetings coming up before my surgery date. rnrnrnI could not have been happier with my physician choice and type of care he has given me. He is so compassionate and truly cares about how his patients progress with the program.
Dr. Warnock is genuine. He is a sweet, humble and a very intelligent doctor. I thank God for him and his staff because they appear to be very sincere about helping their patients. There is nothing that I did not like about him. He was thorough and very knowledgable about the procedure. He told my daughter and I about the risk and complications involved. Personally, I would rate him a top notch-ten because I could really feel his heart and the passion that he has for his patients. Now, that makes me feel comfortable with his ability as a physician because I believe that he will provide the best possible care for both my daughter and I. With the Lord and a compassionate doctor that also loves the Lord, I know that we will be successful.
I went today to meet with Dr Warnock and I can honestly say if you have him as your DR you are so truely blessed, his staff was very professional, he was marvelous, there was quite a long wait over my appt time but I credit that to him being such a caring DR that he takes his time with his patients so I didnt mind, and it didnt seem like any of his other patients minded either..rnHe has a wonderful support group and a bariatric store right in his officernHe told me all the facts stright out and took the time to draw a diagram for my husband so he would understand everything. If I had to rate him on a scale of 1-100 i wouls give him a 99 and the only reason for that is cause everyone has room for improvement..Thats the school teacher coming out in me,,,,LOLrnI havent met him by the bed side yet but I love his office manner, and he knows his stuff, so I am looking forward to seeing him at my bedside..
