Bariatrics of Texas Bariatric Center
I've never met a more compassionate and caring Doctor in my life. Dr. Warnock has been in the saddle at Bariatrics of Texas for many years now and still, he loves what he does and is arguably the best in his field! It comes across (to his patients) in so many ways. From that smile and powerful hand shake, to his sincere ability to listen. My gosh that is so important. How many good listeners are left on the planet, let alone those that are highly educated? Dr. Warnock is a master at listening and has a prompt and insuring way of getting his point(s) across. You better listen because he wastes no words in the English language, so what he says.....COUNTS!!! Most men describe another man as, honest, hardworking, caring, tough, smart, and the list goes on, with the exception of sweet!!!! We save that for the ladies. However, without any qualms, I say Dr. Kenneth M.R. Warnock is all of the above and he is a very sweet and compassionate man to boot! Keep on going Doc, your the man! rnrnYour friend,rnBobby Thompson
Dr. Warnock was very informative and I really like that he prayed with me and my wife. He was patient and answered all of our questions. Staff was very helpfull and friendly and put us at ease. We got a real sense they new what they were doing. I beleive he is one of the best surgeons for bartiatric surgery.
I had my first appointment on the 15th. I cannot say enough about how wonderful I found Dr. Warnock to be. He answered every question I had before I could even ask them. I found his staff just as wonderful. My mother went with me to my appointment and she was very impressed with him. I am waiting now for insurance approval, which I hope to have in a couple of days. Thanks Dr.Warnock for making me feel like I have hope.
This man is the most caring and kind hearted person I think I have ever met. He took me right in and made me feel welcomed. He explained everything about what I was about to go through. He is wonderful, I couldn't ahve asked for a better doctor. It pained me to have to move and know that I would not be under his care anymore.
When I first met Dr. Warnock I was impressed by his personality. He is a very friednly, caring, and understanding person. I have nver met a physician whose concern for his patients was so aparent. He is the only doctor I have ever had that actually wants me to call weekly to keep him updated on my status. You should know that he sets guidelines for you and though they may be hard they are for your benefit. So, follow them. He was very caredul to sit down and explain the pre-op, surgery, and post-op procedures with me. He was very thorough and kept me at ease abut the whole process. He even went as far to explain the plastic surgery he will do for me after I've lost all the weight! He thinks ahead. =]] And of course he gave me every opportunity to answer any questions I had. He is an amazing doctor and I would reccomend him to anyone seeking a bariatric surgeon.
My first impression of Dr. Warnock is the compassion he had for me and my health. He looks in your eyes and really listens. He is not appalled at a person's obesity. He told me he would be my doctor for life and he has certainly been that. Until Dr. Warnock, I've never had a doctor who gives out his home phone number to his patients or who will return calls quickly. He has helped me with every medical need that has arisen. I'm 2 years out and he still encourages me & loves me like family. He is 5th in the nation in bariatric surgery and has done WLS for 25+ years. He's worth the drive. He's our \"angel in cowboy boots\"!rnrnOther than waiting for my doctor appts I can't find anything negative to say about him. Even being in the waiting room isn't bad because of all the talking/sharing we all do. On the flip side, he has offered to meet me on a Sunday when I've had complications. That's a first!
Dr. Warnock took the time to sit down and talk to you. He was very thorough and told me things I didn't really get at the time (or didn't want to about lifestyle changes) but now I understand that he was guiding me to realize what I would have to do. rnHis office and staff were very good and supportive. rnI was supposed to attend aftercare but it was a three hour drive and I didn't which is probably why I managed to fail to acheive my goals. rnWe discussed the risks of surgery before hand and I'd recommend him to anybody. My daughter is considering going to him for this also. rnI did get ticked at him for the foot thing LOL Ok.. so maybe I had a foot odor but it's really hard to get down there and tend to your feet like you should when you can't even see them :) But he was just trying to help me with a hygeine matter and what he did (soak in betadine) did help a lot. And he was never mean about it.. I was just at a sensitive time in my life :) Thanks Dr. Warnock! Really. rnAltogether I'd rate Dr. Warnock 100% great pre-op, op and post-op. rnBoth surgical competence and bedside manner are great. If you want a Doctor who will be there with you through it all Dr. Warnock is a great choice!
