What a wonderful doctor, Dr. Vanguri and his staff are just great. I have received such good care. The staff helped me through it all from being to the end. They know what they're doing.

First Impressions? Dr. Vanguri seemed to be a soft-spoken, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. He seems to care about helping obese people and is very patient with his patients. My impression of him did not change over time. I really liked my doctor...he is kind and seems to have a good bed side manor. I am impressed that he has done over 2,000 of these surgeries.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. VANGURI WAS THAT HE IS KIND AND CARING. HE SEEMS TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT SURGERY. HE DIDN'T MIND ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS I HAD OR AT LEAST DIDN'T SEEM TO. SO FAR I FEEL THAT I HAVE CHOSEN THE BEST SURGEON FOR ME. HE WAS A VERY CALM AND PEACEFUL MAN.

I started my process of checking into bariatric surgery in July/2005. From the first phone call to Dr. Vanguri's office to the present, I have had nothing but a positive and professional experience. The girls in the office (Beverly, Bonnie, & Darlene) are beautiful, caring people. It helps also that Bev has also had bariatric surgery, so she understands first hand all of our anxieties and concerns. Dr. Vanguri is a very patient, attentive, informative man. He does not try to speak to you in terms that will be over your head. He is always willing to answer your questions, no matter how big or small or silly they may seem to you. He is very straight forward and he makes sure that you are fully aware that bariatric surgery is not a quick fix, but together in partnership...you doing what you are supposed to do, and him doing his part...you can be successful. He and his staff conduct a monthly meeting...the 3rd Sunday of every month for those that have had or are considering the surgery. There we talk about any and everything concerning the surgery pre/post op. There is also alot of information given to us to help ensure that we are successful in our weightloss goals. I would truly recommend him with full confidence to anyone considering this life altering journey. The only \"problem\" I had is that there was at the time that I started looking into bariatric surgery a waiting time frame of about two months before my first appointment, but even so, this was a shorter time frame than other doctors that I considered before making my final choice.

My first impression of Dr. Vanguri was that he was sensitive to my needs. He answered all of my questions as well as my husbands! He also has a refreshing sense of humor! His office staff from the first initial call to them was great! Bonnie is awesome, very patient! Dolores must be a saint. She does all of the pre-determination stuff with the insurance companies! She was very kind everytime I called! And Bev has been terrific with helping me get the pre-surgery stuff together (answering questions that is!) My surgery is set for June 5th!

Simply wonderful. Dr. Vanguri was my husband's Wl surgeon 5 years ago (500/250). I wouldn't consider anyone else. He and his office staff are awesome!
