Surgeon could also be Dr Searles. HAd planned to have different Dr but insurance coverage changed mind. Was a little afraid of Dr Todd due to newspaper article but upon meeting him. am now pleased if he will be doing surgery. Dr Searles was interesting person but made me feel like "a bug under microscope" as spent most of appointment talking into recorder, makes you feel like less a person, more an experiment. Haven't met 3rd Dr in office yet. Office staff wonderful and inspiring, several had surgery done already. Am just starting out in labs, testings, so not much exposure yet to Dr's. Can give more of my opinions later as time and experience allow. Especially enjoyed their "Emmi" program

My first impression of Dr. Todd was that he is a man of great character. He was truly concerned and interested in the health and happiness of his patients. I have always thought favorable of Dr. Todd and I do not believe my opinion of him will ever change. He is very concerned with patients after care and making sure, they continue to live healthy lives. I would give Dr. Todd a rating of infinite value. He is just beyond compare. The only thing negative I could have to say is that sometimes it can take awhile to get in to see the Doctor.

My first impression of Dr. Todd was that he actually cares about his patients. He wants his patients to succeed not only with weight loss but with their transformation into the person that they were always meant to be.

Dr. Todd is a very caring man. In fact his whole office is family orienated they all know who you are and are really excited for you through the whole process. The only rough part of the whole process is they take pictures EVERY visit and do video a couple of times. I don't know about you guys but I have spent YEARS hiding from the camera. I think it is great because they also have a support group that you have to go to at least twice prior to surgery and then you can go to after surgery it is very nice. I think both surgical competence and bedside manner are neccessary for a good surgeon esp' in bariatric surgery.

I know about 5 people you have gone to Dr. Todd and had nothing but wonderful things to say.

My first impression of Dr Todd was here is a man of patience. He is very soft spoken, with a very big heart. He loves his work and truly cares for his patients. Over time, I know that I will always think of Dr Todd as my miracle doctor. He saved my life. I had surgery 9/12/05 and my first follow up appointment on 9/21/05. He was very thorough about the procedure and all of its risks. Dr Todd attends all support group meetings and always emphasizes long term care. His office staff is wonderful.

This man is the most caring, dedicated, empthatic docter/person i have ever met. I could set here and say it over and over, but you truly have to met him to understand.

8/5/05 I've never had major surgery before, so was a little scared about the whole thing. I was so anxious to start the weight loss process, but a little worried about being cut. Dr. Todd is a wonderful doctor. I felt very confident with him leading my surgery. Dr. Todd is a very soft spoken and kind man. He truly has his patients best interest at heart. He has a very large family, but gives so much of his time to his patients. Every member of his staff has the same ethics that he does. The patient first, or they don't work there anymore. Dr. Todd requires that you attend at least 2 support group meetings before surgery. The post-op people that attend the meetings are such a great support to the ones still waiting for their day. Dr. Todd explained all of the risks to me and made sure I understood the surgery was not a miracle cure. I was going to have to work with and follow his program. He firmly encourages support groups. In my opinion, Dr. Todd is one of the best all around doctors I've had.

My first impression of Dr. Todd was that he was a very caring man giving a lot to those of us who get shunned and ignored so often.

His office staff has been very knowledgeable.

Dr. Todd is very charismatic and caring. I've seen him for two appointments and love his stories. He makes you feel completely at ease; but challenges you with impromptu questions about this surgery and why you want to have it.

Dr. Searles is very professional but a bit shy. He was my primary surgeon and did a great job. Although he seems shyer than Dr. Todd, he seems very caring and extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Bogojavlensky assisted with my surgery and seems very knowledgeable. I've not had an actual appointment with Dr. Bogo so my assessment is only from seeing him in the hospital.

The biggest frustration is that my appointments haven't been close to being on time (at least an hour late two of the times). I don't mind a doctor running late as long as I feel I'm not being rushed through; and I've never felt rushed through an appointment. It would just be nice to be called and told to come in an hour later rather than sit in the office waiting.
