The receptionist will be highly vague with you in the beginning, she'll basically force you to pay Doctor Craig G Chang's office $25 for nothing in the beginning just to prove you are serious about committing to Doctor Craig G Chang's doctors, visits, basically they are planning on bleeding you for $16,000+ before you even have the surgery(another $16,000+), they won't accept your insurance either unless it is highly premium, which is why the receptionist stores your bank account information over the phone with the illusion of a $25 fee so they can keep charging you for hidden payment even if you do not agree to the charges, they'll most likely have you sign some terms and acceptance agreement in the beginning of the visits to give Doctor Craig G Chang's office permission to charge your bank account without your consent anyways. Doctor Craig G Chang's office will tell you they do not accept your insurance because it isn't premium enough, than document your insurance information anyways and charge you full price than charge your insurance after they just told you they do not accept your insurance, wait till you get your next insurance statements, you'll see that they charged you, doctor Craig g Chang's office thinks your stupid and won't figure out what game they are playing, thinking your too stupid to realize they are bleeding your insurance which they refused to take to begin with and your bank account excessively simultaneously every doctor's visit, and since our justice system broken to medical businesses taking advantage of patients like you and me Doctor Craig G. Chang's office will get away with this business strategy I am absolutely certain he programmed his offices to conduct on autopilot for every new patient, unless you personally invest money into hiring a lawyer to file charges against these corrupt business/medical organizations they will continue to reap your hard earned money under the guise of whatever they think gives them the right to conduct these forms of tactics against their patients, you'll most likely never meet Doctor Craig G Chang until his office staff has bled you enough for the final strike of the $16,000+ surgery, I am sure he personally programmed them all to push the unnecessary 3rd party health visits and $25 vitamin bottles which" you cannot buy over the counter" so you have to buy it from Doctor Craig G Chang's office because they are the only vendors on planet Earth you can get these magical vitamin bottles which your body desperately needs if you want to shed pounds extremely fast. Doctor Craig G Chang's staff are salesmen and women first, health professionals second. Remember Doctor Craig G Chang's staff are businessmen and women first and medical professionals second. Also if you start questioning the finance people/receptionist whoever collects your bank information in the beginning and starts charging you with last minute reaction $200 doctors visit fees she'll get angry with you and try to intimidate you in an effort to make you feel like it's normal for Dr. Craig G. Chang's office to save your bank account information on their files and force you to pay for unnecessary vitamins, alternative health monitor appointments, and $200 visits that they are charging you for analyzing your daily diet intake.

Dr. Chang is great, actually concerned about your success. I have enjoyed having him as my surgeon.

I REACHED 287(I YO YO FROM 273) BY SURGERY. DR CHANG SPENDS HIS TIME TEACHING ME LIFE STYLE CHANGES NOT JUST FOR THE MOMENT. I HEAR HIM IN MY HEAD WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT??? I WORK IN THE HOSPITAL WHERE WE DO BARIATRIC SURGERY AND KNOW THE RISK BUT IM ENJOYING THE BENEFIT OF THE SURGERY. I HAVE NOTICED SOME REALLY GREAT THINGS ABOUT DR CHANG. HE REALLY ENJOYS THE SUCCESS OF HIS PATIENTS. HE TAKES REAL PRIDE IN HIS SURGICAL SKILL, AND HAS A VERY IMPRESSIVE TRACK RECORD. I HAD A RNY BUT I HAD TO HAVE A LARGE HIATAL HERNIA REPAIRED AT THE SAME TIME. IM REALLY GLAD GOD PUT ME IN DR CHANGS HANDS FOR THIS. IM VERY PROUD OF THE BARIATRIC SERVICE AT DR CHANGS OFFICE AND HIS OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THERE IS ALOT OF FOLLOWUP PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AFTER SURGERY AND LOTS OF SUCCESS STORIES TO AVAIL YOURSEL OF. Choosing this Dr. was the best thing I have ever done! Dr. Craig Chang has seriously saved my life and made it worth living again. Before I ahd the WLS I thought my life was over! I had a baby 1 yr prior to the surgery and I new I couldn't go on living the way that I was, so I bit the big one and had it done!! I started at 331 when I made up my mind to see the Dr. and when I weighed in for the first visit I weighed 318! 1 yr after that I finally lost the 18lbs to have the surgery now I'm 5 months out and lost 85lbs. it has been the best thing I have ever done but it also has been a hard and long road. For anyone out there to say that the WLS is the easy way out is totally wrong it is the healthy way out but far from easy!! My Dr. has been there for me in every way, shape and form even when I am stubborn and don't think I want to listen, he always makes me understand and have a smile on my face! I am very excited that I have chosen Dr Chang, as he makes me feel positive that I will have the weight loss surgery. I feel comfortable in his presence, and his office help is so curtious & nice, that's what I look for is the comfort I feel when I go anywhere, if I didn't then I would not be going there. So here I am hoping & praying that my wish will come true that Dr Chang will be able to perform the surgery because I find I can no longer do it on my own, I know the surgery will be half of the weight loss, but once my goal will be the other half to exercise and go on, afterall I dont have too many years left, so I need to make the best of it for health reasons. Dr. Chang is a someone that I would highly recommend for anyone interested in having the Bariatric Surgery. The office staff is quick to answer any questions that you may have and are extremely helpful and really listen to you. Dr. Chang too, listens to what you have to say and cares for his patients, he will do anything to help you and make the process easier. My first impression of Dr.Chang was that his appearance was very nice and he made me feel very comfortable. My impression hasnt changed at all, i still feel the same. Everyone here greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcomed. There is nothing i dislike about Dr. Chang. Future patients should know that he is caring and honest about your health and well-being. He emphasizes aftercare in every visit. He has a structured aftercare program. I was well informed about the risk and the aftercare of my surgery. On a scale 1-10 i rate him a 15. :) i feel that both surgical compentence and bedside manners of Dr. Chang are the best. I dont have one thing to say negative about Dr.Chang he saved my life!

I'm really happy that Dr. Chang did my gastric bypass surgery because He and his office staff really make you feel comfortable, and they really care. I would absolutely recommend him to future patients because He made things doable for me, he didn't ask me to lose 30 pounds before surgery with no advice on how to do so. And he seems like a bit of a perfectionist, which is never a bad thing in a surgeon.

Dr. Chang truely cares about his patients success. He is very strict but has been absolutely wonderful. I drive all the way in from Austin and him and his staff has been worth the drive!

My first impression of Dr. Chang was that he was very nice, very interested in my decision to lose weight---after a lifetime of trying on my own. Dr. Chang's staff is also very nice--even if you gain instead of losing they don't make you feel like you did something wrong. I already recommend Dr. Chang to friends at work and tell them that he is a Doctor that cares and will get you on the right track to losing weight and answer any questions you they have. Dr. Chang is very considerate of his patients---he always asks how long I have been waiting to see him and if longer than he thinks he apologizes. I think Dr. Chang is great and will and do recommend him to anyone that is interested in Bariatric Surgery.
