Low-carb diet bad for the heart
Researchers say a diet based around lots of protein such as meat, fish and cheese, without carbohydrates, can cause artery damage.
The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in the US, a part of the Harvard Medical School, found a diet based on low-carbohydrate intake caused artery damage on tests on mice.
