MEET Dr Super... the surgeon who is a life-saving hero to Britain's fattest patients.

Gastric band expert Paul Super helps obese people shed the equivalent of three adult elephants in flab every year.

And the loss of that crushing 20 tons gives 600 patients their lives back - curing them of diabetes, rescuing their damaged joints and even letting them have children.
