Super slimmer refused skin op

A WOMAN who lost 11st through healthy eating and exercise has twice been denied an NHS-funded operation to remove the excess skin.

Mother-of-two Ruth Lee, 37, of Bridlington, weighed 22st 4lb and now weighs 11st 4lb, dropping from a size 28 to a size 12 over two years.

Ruth said she has battled with her weight for years and after losing half her body weight, she is now left with excess skin that can only be removed through surgery.  Click here for full article.
