Try to keep your sprits up!! I have been at a stand still for about a
month. I am not losing pounds I am losing inches. I am doing all that I can
to lose the weight but the scale still says 241. I am proud of myself for
losing the 64 pounds that I have lost and only being 4 months post. I go
to cardio kickboxing 3 times a week and try to go swimming 2 times a week.
Make sure you get the protein in. I can't stand protein powder so I make a
smoothie every morning to mask the yucky protein powder. Keep up the great
work that you have done so far.

First of all STOP the grazing. You will do nothing but sabotage the
surgery and yourself. I agree with the previous poster I lose a pound or
two here and there, but my inches are what are "not" showing. I
went to the mall with hubby the other day and I bought shorts two sizes
smaller than when I came home from surgery. I started this journey at a
very tight size 22 and now I wear a very loose size 18, almost a size 16.
Hang in there you will make it.

The unfortunate thing about this surgery is that it's stomach surgery and
not brain surgery. The surgery restricts how much food we can fit in our
stomachs, but not doesn't help us fix what's broken in our relationship
with food in the first place. Getting depressed over what the scale says
won't help you. If you find that you are getting depressed and grazing, I
think you need to speak to someone, like your doctor or a psychologist.
Just talk to someone before you slip into old bad habits. Good luck to
you!
